Our Work
Celebrating Success and Unforgettable Experiences

Sound The Alarm
We partnered with TeamTRI to create an edgy, intense identity that transformed into animated graphics and a complete stage set!
Inspired by an industrial atmosphere of heavy machinery, this year’s identity will alert everyone that Georgia FCCLA is on its way to the top. It may even hurt their ears! Members will feel enthralled to push through whatever hardships may fall their way and emerge a winner.
The logo was inspired by modern-day warning signs. Warnings and alerts are typically bold and easy to read in a hurry. We followed the same approach here. The word “code” is small, yet it draws your eye toward the center, thus allowing you to experience the alarming size of the word “RED.” Its simplicity delivers an urgent message.
Everything in this identity has a worn, rough treatment. The rugged look in this logo symbolizes the hardships that one must go through to accomplish greatness. Striped lines run across the top and bottom as a sign of caution. The symbol for high voltage rests behind the logo as sparks ignite from both sides, electrifying FCCLA’s Leadership.

Connect To Your Audience
Cybis engages audiences with interactive apps to keep participants connected during the entire event.
When Cybis partnered with the Orlando EDC to create a unique experience for audience members at the One Orlando Summit, we knew we wanted to deliver an engaging feature that would energize attendees to support the growth of central Florida.
So, we brought the power of mobile technology to the event. Leveraging the latest interactive apps, we connected with attendees throughout the three-day summit to provide exclusive behind-the-scenes facts and interactive polls directly on attendees’ phones. Users could answer questions, and communicate with on-stage presenters in real-time. And it didn’t end when they left the ballroom. The content continued to update even as attendees participated in several tours around the Orlando region.

It Looks Good on You
Cutting-edge photography gives prospective healthcare workers a glimpse into their future careers.

In today’s high school environment, being career-focused, college-ready, and passionate is the cool thing to do. To help National HOSA increase awareness, drive membership, and continue to position its brand as the varsity starter squad of future health professionals, we developed the “It Looks Good On You” campaign.
We used our insight into HOSA’s history and brand identity to guide our brainstorming process. We worked to narrow down to something that’s relatable and current, but that will also last a long time.
Within these creative boundaries, we created a modern healthcare hero alter ego. The final designs show high-quality images of familiar student life (high school lockers, surfing and studying), while the other half shows a glimpse of an empowering future: scrubs and a stethoscope, a nurse’s face mask. There’s no better way to inspire future HOSA members to picture themselves in a future healthcare career.
See more HOSA posters here.

Unique Venue, Unique Experience
This unique New Orleans location brought new meaning to the phrase “not a bad seat in the house.”
We know how powerful an atypical event space can be. That’s why we do whatever it takes to embrace and build around unique venues to transform them into breathtaking live show spaces.
When we flew in to support TRI Leadership Resources’ Preserve America Summit at the historical U.S. Custom House, this one-of-a-kind New Orleans venue was still recovering from recent Hurricane Katrina damage. The city was just getting on its feet again, and while the incredible, distinctive architectural style of this venue was visually stunning, it wasn’t meant to be an event space.
With reconstruction just beginning, utility services unreliable, and literally holes in the floor, this special space was worth every effort to transform and make suitable for the First Lady.-Jeff Douglass, Executive Producer
Yet, we simply knew that the event had to be in this unique space. And that meant we had to get creative. We got to work knowing we had to make this old-world venue suit our new-world technology.
To work around the massive columns that peppered the event floor, we brought in risers to create a raised seating areas for several hundred people. We used photos and measurements to create a 3D rendering of the room to guarantee that every seat in the house could see the projection screens — which we adjusted and flipped vertically to suit the space, as well. To ensure the safety of every participant, we coordinated with a structural engineer to certify that the room would be able to hold the weight of the risers, participants, and equipment.
The result: A stunning event and not a bad seat in the house!

Aric Bostick: Fit For a Hero
This action-packed trailer combines powerful sound bytes with stunning typography for a promotional teaser that leaves audiences yearning for more.
Awesome. That’s the only way to describe the infectious enthusiasm of motivational speaker Aric Bostick. After Aric gave a life-changing keynote at one of our events in Washington, D.C., it was a thrill to partner with him to produce an epic, cinematic trailer highlighting his incredible message for students.
You guys are AWESOME!! I am so happy, you exceeded expectations. I look forward to our next project together.-Aric Bostick, Motivational Speaker

Held in Washington D.C., the National Leadership Awards event commands attention, bringing together top education and political leaders from across the nation. With a sophisticated layout and color palette reminiscent of our nation’s capitol, this clean-cut look illustrates the transition from student leader to young professional.

Walk on the Wild Side
Cybis brings the heat of the African Savanna to the metropolitan Midwest.
Cybis proudly produced the DECA Central Region Leadership Conference (CRLC) in Omaha, Nebraska, causing the chilly winter temperatures to rise with a savanna-inspired stage design. The theme “Wild About DECA” was fueled by highly contrasted reds and oranges paired with jungle animal-print graphics. Team Cybis transformed the CenturyLink Center ballroom into a sizzling jungle oasis with fresh foliage, custom graphics, and high-end lighting fixtures.
Again, thanks for everything. You brought our vision to life and I can’t express how proud I was to have you on our conference team!-Nicole Coffey, Nebraksa Department of Education

Connecting The Dots
Cybis brought Visit Orlando’s largest annual event theme to life with a dynamic 3D circular stage design.
As all of the big names and leaders of Orlando’s travel and tourism industry accepted their invitations to the prestigious Insights and Marketing Luncheon, hosted annually by Visit Orlando, Team Cybis’ wheels were spinning. We were collaborating on the perfect way to energize a group that was so close to our home and hearts.
Cybis pitched the theme Connect360, and presented it alongside a glowing circle identity that perfectly exemplified Visit Orlando’s mission. The dynamic approach symbolized the importance of these countless leaders coming together and connecting as one, and the unique stage design brought this brand to life.
The circular designs came to life in a four dimensional manner with the help of a stellar lighting display that made them appear as if they were floating in the middle of the stage. Coupled with the seamless video graphic content Cybis provided, Connect360 was a sleek and smooth theme that left the audience feeling unified.

CNL Stylish Corporate Theater
CNL Financial Group stepped up their annual awards presentation by partnering with Cybis to create a beautiful, authentic awards celebration.
From the identity concept, through final event production, our corporate client received the total Cybis treatment. We developed a custom theme (“Roar”) for their annual internal promotion, and then expanded that identity with a custom intro video and motion graphics presentation for the announcement of the winners of their prestigious Cupola Awards.

The Ultimate Pop Quiz
Put your audience’s minds to the test with this interactive live game show.
Cybis designed and executed a live game show pre-show, including custom motion graphics animation for students at Business Professionals of America’s National Leadership Conference.

Any Shape Any Size
Challenging our audience to re-imagine the future, we designed and executed a bold, unique center stage for a national conference.
When challenged with creating an innovative stage design for HOSA’s National Leadership Conference, we knew that an ordinary rectangle screen was not going to cut it. Drawing from elements in the identity, our team custom-fabricated a unique, S-curve screen to enhance the conference’s theme, “Shape the Future”.

Tomorrow Begins Today
Tomorrow Begins Today with an electric show for a state-wide conference.
For Florida FBLA, we designed a dynamic show to illustrate why Tomorrow Begins Today! Students from around the state of Florida competed with one another in events for Future Business Leaders. The show and stage design channeled this aspect of the future with an energizing lighting display and pulse pounding up-and-coming music to complement the futuristic conference identity. In addition to fabulous ambiance, Cybis incorporated an interactive pre show, inviting participants to the stage to show what makes them future leaders.
Cybis is the most creative, cooperative, innovative AV company that exists!-Jody Jones, Florida FBLA State Adviser

Washington DECA Bold Brand Design
Venture: A single word with endless meaning for student leaders.
Venture – a single word with endless meaning for Washington DECA. And with that one word, Cybis designed an entire brand to support the school year and two state conferences.
By definition, venture means to take on a daring challenge, packed with considerable risk. The design incorporates three core icons associated with this special adventure. To a DECA member, the binoculars symbolize going the distance, and looking ahead toward their future. The flame represents the passion shared by DECA members, and the compass reminds members that DECA is their guide as they set a course to achieve their goals
The versatile design was adapted to numerous platforms, including posters, t-shirts, event programs, and other marketing collateral.

Ultimate Press Conference
Cybis produced an engaging and exciting press release in just two weeks for one of the country’s top travel associations.
When Universal Studio’s tourism partner Visit Orlando needed last-minute support for the International Pow Wow (IPW) travel and tourism conference in Chicago, they turned to CYBIS, and we delivered.
“Sometimes our clients stumble upon an opportunity to impact their audience that wasn’t in their long term communications plan. No matter the turnaround time, we’re always able to deliver something that goes beyond their expectations.”
Cybis Founder, Jeff Douglass
For IPW 2014, CYBIS designed and delivered a 16-ft 3D “Orlando” sign and a 45-minute onscreen presentation with custom animation that cemented Visit Orlando President and CEO George Aguel and the 59-million visitor strong City of Orlando itself as exciting and bold!
But why stop there? We also partnered with the Visit Orlando marketing department to craft a powerful live production and digital media presentation with last-minute, high-impact graphics from the top theme parks in the world. The ultimate goal? Helping Visit Orlando show, not tell, its international audience what makes Orlando the exhilarating destination spot it is.

BPA National Mailing Campaign
Cybis produced and delivered a comprehensive, nationwide marketing campaign including posters, booklets and postcards.
Expanding on our annual theme of Imagine, Believe, Become for National BPA, we prepared a fall mailing campaign that delivered thousands of postcards, booklets and flyers to high schools across the country, promoting membership and their annual national conference.

The Quest for Greatness
This dramatic opening sequence blended 3D projection with compelling copywriting to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
For the debut of Pennsylvania FBLA’s annual State Leadership Conference, we prepared a captivating opening sequence that inspired members to seek the greatness within themselves. All of the photos began as still images which we masked and composited into a virtual 3D environment.

Beneath The Waves
Marine-like elements brought of splash life to this underwater stage design.
We dove beneath the waves to develop this refreshing stage design for Georgia FBLA’s State Leadership Conference. Curved truss supported waves of flowing fabric and glistening curtains, lit with the colors of the sea. The design also featured a suspended series of canvas cubes projected with key session content.

Stand Out From the Crowd: Epic Opening Sequence
Using state-of-the-art 3D projection, this cinematic intro sets the stage for an incredible event in the heart of our nation’s capital.
At our premier live outdoor event, Cybis debuted a one-of-a-kind opening sequence to excite and inspire thousands of BPA members.
We began by including iconic moments from the steps of the Nation’s Capital and wove them into a dramatic, compelling intro sequence to inspire our audiences to also Stand Out From the Crowd.
To achieve the cinematic effect, each scene in the video began as a daytime flat photo, which was then projected into a virtual 3D environment, with added layers of ambient particles and light composited above, and color grading to convert it to twilight. The result was a breathtaking intro sequence that left our audience breathless until the climactic finale.

Recruitment Campaign
Cybis produced a pair of videos inviting members and advisors to join Texas’s premier student business organization.
Cybis created a complete recruitment package for Texas Business Professionals of America, including a pair of promotional videos that showcases the impact Texas BPA is making in its community, along with the incredible benefits of becoming a member.

See For Yourself
Inspired by Google Glass, this video teases audiences with a one-of-a-kind sneak peek inside one of the world’s largest student organizations.
For years, Cybis has partnered with National DECA – a global organization preparing students for careers in entrepreneurship and marketing – to design and produce its annual membership recruitment video. In the past, we’ve crafted sleek, glossy, highly polished videos; blending great videography, dynamic broadcast graphics and real interviews with actual student members to match DECA’s crisp brand image and tell the DECA story.
It was time to shake things up. We needed to break the mold and create something the student leadership industry hadn’t done before. Inspired by the Google Glass craze of 2013, we imagined a Glass-style, first person perspective video shot entirely by students. Like never before, prospective members would see DECA through the eyes of real members: networking, preparing for competition, shaking hands, winning awards and giving epic high-fives.
Shot on location at a huge DECA chapter just outside of Atlanta, Georgia and at the 2013 DECA International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, California, our team strapped cameras onto real DECA members’ heads for an eye-level perspective of the DECA experience. With light graphics, a perfect soundtrack and the voices of members to guide viewers through the narrative, the promo quickly became the most viewed DECA promo in its history.
OK, Glass: Top that.
My words can’t do justice for Cybis’ performance – you just have to watch it! The bottom line is that Cybis delivers. Flawlessly.-Chris Young, National DECA High School Division Director

Go Big or Go Home
Modern simplicity meets abstract complexity for visual punch.
The most powerful design is often made up of unpredictable dichotomies: surprising and comforting, engaging and distracting. When we set out to design the DECA Western Region Leadership Conference (WRLC) “GO!” identity and promo video for California DECA and TRI Leadership Resources, we knew we’d have to play on this sense of opposites for the biggest visual impact.
We paired the theme’s single-word simplicity with the exact opposite – complexity.
California DECA is a modern, design-forward organization. When it was time to brand the WRLC, we wanted to represent individuality amongst members, yet convey the power of DECA students working together toward a common goal.-Clayton Carter, Cybis Creative Director
Inspired by the destination feel of the Anaheim event and DECA’s spirited community members, we framed up a logo that celebrates collaborative diversity with fresh, sunny California-themed branding. the result is nothing short of fun-in-the-sun. So get ready to GO full speed, GO forward, and GO wild with our bold new design for GO! The DECA Western Region Leadership Conference!

The tables of time turn to reveal the celestial signs that be in this enchanting display of astrology.
A memorable, tailored animation that integrates seamlessly with the timepiece and zodiac theme of the Grand Court, bringing that world to life on the screens. We pull the wonderful textures from the existing mosaics in the center, such as constellations, calendar ticks, as well as a vortex of fish and leaves that swirl together on the floor. This memorable piece captures the unique sophistication and theme of the center, honoring the movements of time and the stars, and serve as a tribute to the Mall at Millenia’s distinct design.
This video captures The Mall at Millenia’s international shoppers as their faces light up when we spotlight their respective zodiac signs with visual imagery as well as the names of the zodiacs themselves. Encouraging audience participation and serenading them with relaxing music, like waves from the sea, this video runs in the Grand Court of the world famous mall.

The Epic Adventure
Rich motion graphics created a beautiful, compelling adventure for an incredible conference.
This captivating promo video set the tone for an exciting, magical adventure for the Business Professionals of America’s National Leadership Conference.
I’m inspired now! Can’t wait to see what happens on stage if this is only the beginning. Everyone loves it – thanks a million! -Shawna Gfroerer, Business Professionals of America

Liquid Metal
Melt to the music as your eyes sparkle with excitement.
Against a simple, dark background, two mysterious orbs of liquid metals stretch and “drip” sideways around the screens. As they approach each other and finally meet, the elongated globules are quickly pulled and condensed together. The resulting shock wave reveals the Mall at Millenia logo formed from the remnants. Soundtrack is ambient and dreamlike.
The LED display at the Mall at Millenia’s Grand Court invites viewers to examine it more closely as the elements start out very abstract and gradually reveal what they are over time. The choice of metals reflects the high fashion and lifestyle of the Mall and its patrons; reflected in gold, silver, and bronze.

You Don't Know the Half of It
Cybis creates a dynamic stage design that adapts to content.
The atmosphere for Orlando EDC’s One Orlando Summit was transformed. Using state of the art technology, Cybis created a projection mapping stage design to offset the VIPs presentations. Dynamic content faded across the real life objects, corresponding to specific blocks of information. Since everything was video, the stage design was able to adapt and change dramatically to visually support the content being discussed.
In addition to the many prestigious speakers and panel of experts, a new identity was unveiled on Cybis’s stage design, proclaiming “You Don’t Know the Half of It!”

Freezing Hot Identity
This frigid logo design captured the energy of motion with Colorado’s ice-cold winters, for a printed logo audiences will remember for years.
It’s normally pretty hot in Florida, but that didn’t stop Cybis from creating a chilling Identity for Colorado FBLA’s upcoming State Leadership Conference. The theme this year is “Achievement in Motion.” Cybis took the “conquer the storm” approach and put FBLA students right in the middle of it. This identity is filled with blizzard like conditions but still manages to symbolize inner strength, willpower, and unity. A FBLA flag stands strong at the top of the mountains as a sign of hope. So put on your heaviest jacket, and enjoy some collateral from Colorado FBLA’s Achievement in Motion.

Engage Your Audience
Cybis was the first to debut a state-of-the-art audience interaction system for 1,600+ high school students at this year’s Fall Leadership Conference!
At Cybis it’s all about the audience experience. As over 1,600 high school students gathered for Washington DECA’s Fall Leadership Conference, we didn’t ask for phones to be turned off. We made mobile part of the story.
Encompassing the year’s conference theme, Venture, Cybis traveled beyond the borders of traditional technology to debut an exciting, interactive software that attendees were able to download to their personal mobile devices. Using a state-of-the-art app, students had the ability to control what they saw and heard next by voting and participating in live polls. As answers were swarming in live, the scripts were adjusted in real-time to correspond with the audience results. Those who were most active using the app were even granted an exciting opportunity to participate in the hypnosis show that was a part of the conference’s entertainment session. Attendees were also able to access exclusive content only available on a mobile device.
Just as leaders should, they had the power to change what lay before them and truly venture above and beyond.

Accenture It Gets Better
Cybis partnered with Accenture, Fortune 500 Company, to produce an original video for the It Gets Better Project.
In September 2010, syndicated columnist and author Dan Savage created a YouTube video with his partner Terry Miller to inspire hope for young people facing harassment. In response to a number of students taking their own lives after being bullied in school, they wanted to create a personal way for supporters everywhere to tell LGBT youth that, yes, it does indeed get better.
The It Gets Better Project has become a worldwide movement, inspiring more than 50,000 user-created videos viewed more than 50 million times. To date, the project has received submissions from celebrities, organizations, activists, politicians and media personalities, including President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Adam Lambert, Anne Hathaway, Colin Farrell, Joe Jonas, Ke$ha, Ellen DeGeneres, the staffs of The Gap, Google, Facebook, Pixar, the Broadway community and, thanks to Cybis, Accenture.
Shot on location in Dallas, this simple but powerful video features heartbreakingly honest interviews with LGBT employees of Accenture. They share their grief, their strife but also their triumphs and positive experiences as they’ve experience love and support as the world changes. The video is elegant, uplifting but ultimately simple – letting the story of hope be the star.
Accenture would later tell us, it became the most watched video on the company’s intranet.

Social Engineering
As social media grows in importance, Cybis infuses the trend into student organization promotions.
When FBLA approached Cybis to produce a brand new membership recruitment promo video to attract future business leaders, we were just plain giddy to hear they wanted it to tie in with their recent surge into social media. Our angle: make Facebook a living, evolving world that we could fly a camera through and watch the world of FBLA unfold before our eyes.
Combining four days worth of FBLA-PBL interviews with dynamic and kinetic graphics, we built a masterpiece featuring the rich visual world of Facebook and the rich tapestry of FBLA’s success in building leaders. The story of FBLA plays out across news feeds, wall posts, photo comments and more – positioning the organization on the cutting edge, and connecting with students on their level.
Staying true to the Facebook UI, while making it timeless and seamless with FBLA’s brand, was the real challenge, but with clever camera angles and motions, we’re able to keep the Facebook bits subtle, but clearly recognizable.
-Clayton Carter, Creative Director
The creative team was successful bringing a ton of value to the piece by creating a product with great shelf-life for the organization.

Natural Inspiration
For Nevada DECA’s rebrand, we created a bold and edgy identity, inspired by the rustic elements of The Silver State.
After experiencing unprecedented growth and success throughout the past few years, there was no better time for Nevada DECA to launch their new motto, “Inspire. Lead. Achieve!” So when Cybis was presented with the opportunity of rebranding their entire identity, we knew it was a chance to highlight both the brilliant DECA mission and the natural beauty of the western mountain state.
We were challenged to create a new image that captured the unique spirit of Nevada, while showcasing DECA in a triumphant, positive way.
-Creative Director, Clayton Carter
So, that’s what we did. To breathe a new lease of life into Nevada DECA, we took the crispness of the National DECA brand and gave it a modern twist to appeal to a generation of young leaders.
Nevada, a land vastly covered with endless desert beauty, is filled with colors and hues that provided the perfect palette for designing an identity. The silvery silhouettes of DECA students represent both the joy of belonging to such a prestigious organization as well as the state’s nickname ‘The Silver State’. A burnt orange that can only be found beneath a burning desert sun, a bright background used to represent DECA and the texture of a rough western terrain came together to create an eye-catching design that fulfilled the client’s vision for re-launch.

Stage Management with National Officers
NATIONAL BPA
.jpeg)
Speaking on stage to an audience of five thousand is no small feat, but Cybis Stage Managers provide the tools for confident on-stage delivery. When all eyes are focused on the stage, preparation and coaching make the difference between “just getting through” and truly connecting with the audience.
Our stage managers began working with the ten-person Business Professionals of America National Officer Team in January to develop their speaking abilities and stage presence. Through training sessions, rehearsals, and show-time, our expert coaches did more than just teach the officers how to read a script. They transformed the organization’s leaders into dynamic presenters, capable of captivating the audience with powerful storytelling and mastering precise on-stage choreography.

Each video was tailor made to a specific theme or feeling to display at the prestigious Mall at Millenia’s Grand Court to thousands of international visitors daily. The videos feature the high fashion and luxurious lifestyles of the renowned mall and its selections of international stores.

Brand New Identity
From logos to stationary: Cybis re-branded a national organization, modernizing their image while maintaining their proud heritage.

National HOSA, a leadership development program exclusive to students enrolled in health care programs, was founded in 1976 and has been steadily expanding ever since. After experimenting unsuccessfully with other design companies for over two years, HOSA came to Cybis ready for a change. HOSA was eager for a fresh, modern identity, but one that would stay true to its history. Working alongside an organization with a rich heritage and open to creative possibilities was an exciting opportunity for Cybis to collaborate, strategize and impress.
The easily recognizable enclosed triangle insignia used by HOSA dated back to the group’s origin, so Cybis knew the pressure was on to create something that was still recognizable, but in a new and exciting way.
After careful thought and bold decision-making, Cybis designed a natural evolution of HOSA’s preceding brand, incorporating a simplified version of the traditional emblem into a crisp new color palette. The fresh new look was compiled using modernized type and color that couldn’t be found in the original 1976 design. The triangular emblem is still the focal point of the design, representing the three aspects of humankind’s well-being, but it was now paired with a new tagline and inventive identity.
“Cybis was able to bring a great deal of value that other national companies do not take the time to consider. When Cybis knows their client, they become personally invested.” -Jeff Koeninger, National HOSA Director of Membership
Instead of neglecting the company’s heritage and tradition, Cybis honored it. And it paid off. State and local chapters, advisors, and members embraced the changes with renewed enthusiasm for the future of their organization and health professionals. Cybis continues to support HOSA through annual marketing materials, creative identities, branding solutions and live show productions by continually meeting HOSA’s standard for quality and innovation.

Ground-Up Rebrand
From the ground to the clouds, Cybis built a bold new identity for Oregon’s leading student organization.
Oregon FBLA needed a brand that was as powerful as the minds of its members. As the premiere Oregon organization for student leaders preparing for careers in business-related fields, we challenged ourselves to deliver something creative and intelligent.
With a blank canvas before us, our designers created an alluring brand that encompasses the organization’s diversely landscaped home state of Oregon. While exploring, we discovered Mount Hood- a colossal Oregon landmark that soars 11,249 feet into the air. As the highest point in the state, it felt like a natural fit to represent an organization with such a strong foundation of leadership.
Using its silhouette and an oceanic color palette similar to the lake that Mount Hood soars above, Cybis created a beautifully calculated brand that not only emphasizes the beauty of Oregon itself, but also the mountainous challenges you can overcome in your career with the help of Oregon FBLA.

Teaser Commercial
Energetic, short, and sweet: this fun 30-second teaser grabs audience’s attention for the launch of a new digital platform and leaves them wanting more.
DECA, Inc. partnered with Cybis to create a high-energy teaser video for the launch of their new online collaboration platform, DECA Direct. The new platform connects DECA to its 215,000+ members across the globe.

Fire Breathers
Is it getting hot in here? Don’t be afraid of the heat! Step into the world of fire.
Drama and beauty blend in the Mall, as we light up the Grand Court with fire-breathers igniting the screens. High-speed photography will capture this captivating moment in slow motion, allowing guests to pause and appreciate the beauty of this captivating art form. By including several performances, we provide a variety of angles and takes to keep audiences curious and wanting more. This red hot video reflects the excitement and energy on the runway of a high fashion exhibition. Each moment is excitingly captured in a dramatic flare for storytelling and inspire guests to the Mall at Millenia to ignite that passion for fashion in their selves.

LED Content for Billboard Awards
Cybis blanketed the stage with exciting animated LED content for Pitbull’s performance at the Billboard Music Awards. When worldwide musical phenoms Pitbull and Christina Aguilera took the stage at the 2013 Billboard Awards for their joint performance of “Feel this Moment”, they were surrounded by a glamourous, fabulous, downright swagger-ous array of LEDs blasting bright & beautiful graphics synced to the beat by Cybis’ stellar mograph team. We jumped on the opportunity to team up with our friends at Impulse Creative Group to produce this custom LED content for Pitbull’s performance. Our job was to create a full animated and syncopated backdrop for a six-screen array on stage at the live national broadcast – on stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. It was a tight turn-around, but the final product was a masterful mash-up of geometric lines & shapes, doused in fluorescents and lots of sparkle. During the chorus, silhouettes of raving crowds – with hands in the air – transported live-audience members (and the folks watching from their couch at home) to the front row of a club performance with Mr. Worldwide himself. Before the performance was over, the performer honored the original creator of his sampled backbeat (A-Ha’s lead vocalist Morten Harket) with a live on-stage cameo. For this surprise trip back to the 80’s we adapted scenes from the original music video for the lush LED array, and even made a few modifications to make this end-cap a performance to remember. Later, in June of 2013 we quickly re-adapted the graphics for Pitbull’s performance on the live season finale of NBC’s The Voice, more than doubling the piece’s viewership! #thisisthevoice
