Our Work
Celebrating Success and Unforgettable Experiences

Together We Achieve
Cybis returns to produce the FBLA National Leadership Conference, delivering an extraordinary show for over 16,000 future leaders.
Cybis Productions proudly returned to the Future Business Leaders of America’s (FBLA) highly anticipated National Leadership Conference, bringing our expertise in live event production to the forefront of student leadership once again. This year, we were honored to serve as the creative force behind both the middle school/high school and collegiate conferences, which collectively drew over 16,000 aspiring leaders from across the nation and beyond.
The NLC is the pinnacle of the FBLA experience, where students compete in leadership events, showcase their talents, and explore exciting new career paths. Over the course of four action-packed days, attendees can participate in workshops, check out exhibits, and support fellow students running for national office. This dynamic environment demands nothing short of excellence, and Cybis was thrilled to meet and exceed these expectations, delivering an unforgettable experience!
Our partnership with FBLA is a story of rekindled collaboration. After having served as their event production partner from 2005-2009, then again in 2011,, we are thrilled to have reestablished this relationship, and have now produced their NLC for two consecutive years! Our return to this partnership is a testament to the trust and confidence FBLA places in Cybis to deliver inspiring, professional events that leave a lasting impact on its members.
With nearly three decades of experience supporting student leadership organizations, Cybis has continually pushed the envelope with imaginative designs and cutting-edge show technology. This year’s NLC was no exception. The theme of this year’s event, “Together We Achieve,” perfectly embodied the collaborative spirit that drives both FBLA’s mission and our own work at Cybis.
As we reflect on another successful year with FBLA, we are proud of the boundaries we’ve pushed and the memorable experiences we’ve crafted. Cybis looks forward to continuing this partnership and empowering the next generation of leaders for years to come!

Unbelievable Excellence with Visit Orlando
Cybis has had the privilege of continuing our long-time partnership with Visit Orlando. Within this partnership, we have exponentially increased the number of shows produced from year to year, a clear testament to the quality of production we provide here at Cybis!
“Visit Orlando is The Official Tourism Association® for Orlando, the most visited destination in the United States and Theme Park Capital of the World,” and Cybis has had the honor of serving this esteemed organization time and time again. Within this long-standing alliance, we have exponentially increased the number of shows produced from year to year for Visit Orlando, a clear testament to the quality of production we provide here at Cybis!
While the tourism bureau focuses on promoting Orlando, our team is focused on showcasing their incredible attributes to a greater, global audience. Since 2021, Cybis has produced Visit Orlando’s three annual luncheons: the Travel & Tourism Event in May, the Insights Economic Forum & Luncheon in August, and the Year-End Celebration in December.
As with all beginning stages of a live production, we listened to the team’s specific visions for the event, style, scripting, and stage environment. Custom, elegant set design, motion graphics, and scripted moments helped to highlight trends and opportunities that will shape the future of Orlando and tourism in our city.
From luncheons to international press releases, Cybis has produced a variety of events for Visit Orlando in many of Orlando’s most premiere locations, fitting to say the least! These locations include the Dr. Phillips Center, the Amway Center, Orange County Convention Center, and even local venue sellouts. With Cybis’ commitment to Total Show Management for all of our clients, we aim to fulfill promises and exceed expectations. We greatly cherish our partnership with Visit Orlando as it continues to keep us on our feet with new shows and new challenges on the horizon!

Opening Inspiration: Powered by People
To kick off HOSA’s ILC week, the lights dimmed, the system activated, and the future made contact. Cybis launched the opening session with a cinematic, AI-powered experience that blended immersive storytelling, striking visuals, and an inspiring message for over 14,000 attendees.
When more than 14,000 rising health professionals and guests gathered in Nashville for this year’s HOSA International Leadership Conference, our goal was clear: launch the event with excitement, purpose, and a message that would inspire innovation across the healthcare industry. We delivered a cinematic opener that captured HOSA’s mission, energized the audience, and set the tone with dynamic visuals, music, and lighting.
Message from the Future
We built a story that connected HOSA’s core values—lead, learn, serve, innovate—to real-world impact. The show began with a digital loading screen that scanned the room and counted attendees. Once the “system” approved the data, an AI-generated avatar appeared with a message from the future.
This transmission, hardcoded into the Project HOSA (Healthcare Oversight & Systems AI) architecture, was meant for the people who created the system in the past. The avatar described breakthroughs made possible by today’s HOSA members. It recognized their role in shaping a healthier world and urged them to keep pushing boundaries, lead with courage, and never stop learning.
Powered By People
Following the messaging of the conference theme, we built a stage experience that could respond to the crowd’s energy. With a theatre-style setup, we needed a way to draw the audience into the action. A rallying video sequence invited attendees to clap, stomp, and build momentum. Each soundwave surged into the on-screen reactor. As the energy peaked, the system roared to life—igniting the massive display for the next segment.
Impact in the Present
The video then shifted to real student impact. We showed HOSA members learning from healthcare professionals, exploring new technologies, and engaging in hands-on activities. Between scenes, bold text urged attendees to own their future and elevate healthcare starting now.
The soundtrack—a custom mix of Don’t Let Me Down—opened with an instrumental to let the visuals breathe. The lyrics arrived at the chorus, reinforcing the message: the future is counting on HOSA today. Don’t let them down.
Ignition Sequence
The finale burst with color, sound, and motion. Fast-paced visuals and phrases built to a high-energy close, hyping members for the session, the week ahead, and the impact they will make in healthcare.
Beyond launching the show, the video set the tone: it was inspirational, visually unified, and anchored HOSA’s identity for the entire conference. The video wasn’t limited to any one screen. It was synced across five LED walls and two projection screens, with light towers, LED bars, and circular beams to build the look of the reactor. Attendees and leadership were moved by how the intro video communicated purpose and promise—reinforced through strategic staging and immersive design.

Lifetime Partnerships: Events Built to Bring Clients Back
Through trust, collaboration, and constant innovation, our work with Florida FBLA continues to inspire audiences and evolve with each event.
Some partnerships last a season. Others last a lifetime.
For Cybis, partnership means more than executing a show. It’s about building trust and making the process so seamless that our clients can’t imagine doing it with anyone else. Our team takes the time to understand each organization’s mission as deeply as our own, and we hold ourselves accountable to deliver excellence year after year. Clients know they can walk into their event without seeing a single rehearsal and be confident it will match their vision, because of our commitment to getting it right.
We don’t stop at just meeting expectations. We critique ourselves harder than anyone else ever could. Every debrief is an opportunity to ask what could be improved, what could be more innovative, and how we can continue raising the bar. Together, we create something awesome, not just once, but again and again.
One of the most prominent examples of this is our work with Florida FBLA. They were our very first client and are still our client more than 20 years later. In the spring of 1996, our CEO and founder Jeff attended his very first Florida FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) State Leadership Conference, an experience that sparked his dream of producing live events. Just six years later, that dream became reality when Cybis produced its very first live event.
The following spring, our partnership reached a new milestone with the 2002 Florida FBLA State Leadership Conference at the Orange County Convention Center. It was our first large-scale event, with an audience of 2,500, and marked the beginning of an enduring relationship.
Over two decades, we’ve created moments that have impacted a hundred thousand Florida FBLA members. Florida FBLA sees how deeply we care about their purpose, and that mutual trust allows us to innovate freely, introduce new creative elements, and keep the experience fresh year after year.
We’re proud of our shared history and mutual growth over the past 24 years, and we look forward to many more years of unforgettable events. For Cybis and our clients, partnership isn’t temporary. It’s built to last a lifetime.

In the Industry for Innovation
From red carpets to convention center arenas, Cybis strives to create unmatched experiences.
Cybis has teamed up with Business Professionals of America since 2007 to host their annual National Leadership Conferences. Always set in a big city, over 6,000 attendees gather to be honored on the national stage. Students ranging from middle school to collegiate level have the opportunity to attend four general sessions with Cybis’ high-quality production support and total show management.
Featuring a red-carpet pre-show, a custom stage design, a unique center screen and themed motion graphics, Cybis uses creative technology, our technical expertise, and comprehensive understanding of making a moment to connect students with one-of-a-kind learning experiences.
For the past two NLCs, Team Cybis had the opportunity to bring our expertise to the Anaheim Convention Center Arena in 2023 and the Hilton Chicago in 2024!

Casting a New Vision
Cybis partnered with the American Sportfishing Association to elevate the world’s largest sportfishing trade show.
Cybis was honored to produce ICAST 2024 for the American Sportfishing Association, the world’s largest sportfishing trade show. As first-time partners, we brought a fresh approach to their event, moving beyond traditional audiovisual services to deliver a fully integrated, seamless production.
In the past, ASA primarily relied on AV rental companies to provide the tools needed for their show. While this approach met their basic needs, it left some critical elements—like soundtracking, rehearsals, and coordinating graphics—outside the scope of the AV rental company’s expertise.
When ASA hired Cybis, they thought they were simply switching AV vendors. What they didn’t expect was our commitment to Total Show Management. We specialize in shaping the entire event experience, from pre-show planning to on-site execution. At Cybis, AV is a tool, not the solution. It’s the difference between buying the ingredients for a recipe and hiring a professional chef to craft the perfect dining experience.
As Jeff Douglass, CEO and founder of Cybis, puts it, “Bringing shows to life isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. Before we even owned AV equipment, we were delivering creative, unified productions. Our team takes on everything from script development and stage management to seamlessly executing last-minute adjustments.”
For ICAST, this meant turning their vision into reality with a detailed script, curated soundtracks, and our team of experts ensuring every moment flowed smoothly. For the first time, ICAST’s organizers were able to enjoy their own event alongside attendees instead of managing the chaos behind the scenes.
“One of the reasons our clients love working with us is our ability to handle the unexpected. Last-minute changes, technical hiccups, or curveballs don’t faze our team. They energize us. It’s all part of our preparation, experience, and dedication to delivering an event that feels effortless to the audience—and to our clients.” Jeff added.
Although hesitant at first, the ICAST organizers quickly recognized the value of working with a TSM team. The result? A flawless show that exceeded expectations. We’re proud to have transformed their event into a worry-free, memorable experience and can’t wait to see what the future holds as we continue to partner with the American Sportfishing Association!

Cybis Makes a Royal Debut at House of DIFFA
Cybis debuts as the production powerhouse behind the House of DIFFA gala, creating a seamless experience that transports attendees through a journey of “Royalty Untamed”—all in support of a cause that matters.
Cybis proudly took the stage at this year’s House of DIFFA gala, bringing our full-scale event production expertise to one of Dallas's most highly anticipated charity events. Though this was our first time producing the event, our team is no stranger to their mission or to bringing heart and inspiration to their storytelling. We had the privilege of creating custom video productions for DIFFA Dallas in the past, aiming to highlight the incredible impact of their organization in new and moving ways.
At this year’s gala, themed "Royalty Untamed," our commitment was to enhance the powerful message of DIFFA with high-energy visuals and impactful stage design, transporting the audience through scenes like the regal Kings & Queens fashion show and an immersive animal kingdom experience. Working together with DIFFA’s team, we brought a new level of immersive storytelling to the gala, complete with themed countdowns, dynamic stage lighting, and meticulously crafted audio-visuals.
Throughout the night, we celebrated not only DIFFA's tireless efforts in the fight against AIDS but also the spirit of the diverse community who rallied together in support. We were honored to bring this inspiring event to life alongside such a passionate organization, helping them raise funds and awareness through an evening filled with purpose, pride, and plenty of unforgettable moments.

A Giant Move
After years of dedicated teamwork, Cybis and Pennsylvania FBLA embark on an exciting new chapter in their collaborative journey.
In a monumental move that marks a new era, the Pennsylvania Future Business Leaders of America (PA FBLA) and Team Cybis proudly announced their continued partnership as they made the move to a new and larger venue. For over two decades, Team Cybis has grown alongside PA FBLA, orchestrating seamless conferences at the Hershey Lodge. With success and growth in both organizations and growing registration numbers, the decision was made to move the event to the state-of-the-art Giant Center, a momentous milestone in our collaborative journey.
"We've grown with PA FBLA for 22 years, witnessing their incredible growth and achievements. It's an honor to have played a crucial role in their journey," remarked Jeff Douglass, CEO and founder of Cybis. The decision to relocate from the familiar confines of the Hershey Lodge reflects both the expanding scale of the PA FBLA events and Cybis' commitment to delivering unparalleled live event experiences, opening up new avenues for innovation and engagement.
Cybis has meticulously crafted productions with cutting-edge technology and awe-inspiring stage setups, ensuring a seamless transition to the new venue. Now with two state conferences under our belts in this arena, we are poised to grow with the organization’s ever-increasing number of attendees. As PA FBLA embraces this new chapter, Team Cybis stands ready to continue creating unforgettable moments that inspire and empower the future leaders of Pennsylvania's business community.

A Production to Watch
After being recognized as a Florida Company to Watch in 2012, Cybis has supported GrowFL’s mission to recognize emerging companies and entrepreneurs since 2019 through elegant stage design.
Cybis has had the privilege of partnering with GrowFL since 2019 for their annual Florida Companies to Watch (FLCTW) event. This event has allowed GrowFL to promote growing companies and thriving entrepreneurs in the Sunshine State. Along with providing a networking opportunity for the Honorees and Sponsors in attendance, GrowFL shines as Florida’s only organization exclusively dedicated to the acceleration of second-stage companies. While GrowFL focuses on the growth of these successfully-growing businesses, Cybis focuses on creating an event experience for their upscale audience members!
The special relationship between Cybis and GrowFL allows the organizations to mutually benefit from one another—Cybis assists with all pre-production, creates custom motion graphics, serves as a knowledgeable consulting party, and builds the beautiful stage present at Florida Companies to Watch events year after year. In return, GrowFL gathers some of the most notable entrepreneurs and businesses in Florida for their annual ceremony.
Special opportunities like these afford Cybis a new market of potential customers while also elevating the great work being done by GrowFL. From supporting a live event to fully producing a virtual FLCTW in an LED studio space, Cybis is excited to have returned to the live environment for their 2022 event and looks forward to continuing to set the stage for this esteemed organization.

HOSA In-The-Round
In-the-round inspiration led to a stunning two-sided performance stage to feature members of HOSA-Future Health Professionals at their International Leadership Conference.
HOSA–Future Health Professionals has partnered with Cybis since 2007 for the production of their annual International Leadership Conference. This long standing relationship has established a great deal of trust, which allows Team Cybis to test all creative limits of event production. When the audience comes from so many countries across the globe, Cybis steps up to the challenge of exceeding their expectations.
This year, Cybis built a stage inspired by the “in-the-round” concept. A stage in-the round is exactly how it sounds: it is placed in the center of a space and the audience is placed 360 degrees surrounding the stage. However, in order to accommodate a centrally-located VIP room and winner staging area, Cybis created more of a “north and south” stage. The audience had the same view of the stage from both sides, so the conference was able to seat half of the attendees on one side and half on the other.
After two years of virtual conferences, Cybis’ goal was to create a sense of connection as people came back together. With a creative LED archway, HOSA International Officers and special speakers were able to switch back and forth to either side of the stage and address both sides of the audience. It was important to not make either side feel as if the show was being directed more toward one than the other. Projection screens provided a look into what was happening from all angles, on all sides, at any moment, immersing the audience into every element of the show regardless of which side the action was actually on.
Creative opportunities like this are the highlight of producing live events. Being able to create an amazing experience for over 10,000 people inspires Team Cybis to continue supporting events and organizations that are also doing creative and unthinkable things. With a strong dedication to inspiring audiences, Cybis is committed to going above and beyond whenever possible to create the experience of a lifetime for leaders of all ages!

Event Production Beyond All Limits
Cybis is committed to inspiring and motivating audiences through an unreal production experience each and every year. Unlike most companies in production, Cybis provides all elements of total show management in-house, supplying our clients with a turnkey approach to live event production.
The process of producing live events involves more than just lights, camera, action. The pre-production phase of a live event is where many companies struggle. And companies who shine in pre-production generally have to outsource other aspects of production, such as gear rental, staffing, and show execution. Cybis excels in total show management: a turnkey approach to producing live events. Organizations who partner with Cybis experience a “one-stop shop” — one point of contact for all event-related aspects.
For BPA, Cybis provided all event production services: scriptwriting, logo creation, graphics creation, stage design, room diagramming, production team staffing, venue coordination, vendor coordination, audiovisual equipment, on-site talent coaching, creative consulting, and served as the backbone in all other general session/awards ceremony-related situations.
In the days approaching show time, Cybis’s elite team of production and staging professionals gather to walk through the production of the entire event. No matter the role, every team member knows the event from start to finish, a key to our success. As BPA leaders arrive, they are given personal attention to hone in on their speaking and presentation skills. While our clients are being personally coached, the technical aspects of the show are taken care of in the background. Witnessing an event from inception to completion is a truly amazing experience, especially because the entire process is produced internally here at Cybis.

Connecting with E2open
Cybis had the privilege of producing E2open’s annual CONNECT Customer Conference with custom staging, unique graphics, and fresh ideas.
Cybis had the privilege of partnering with E2open for the first time to produce their CONNECT 2022 Customer Conference. E2open’s global conference serves as a hub for networking professionals, influential individuals, and industry solutions. While their company focuses on providing solutions to their customers, our team is focused on creating solutions for the show.
With Cybis’ commitment to Total Show Management for all of our clients, we aim to fulfill promises by exceeding expectations. During the pre-production phase of this project, we listened to the E2open team’s vision for the event, environment, and stage. What we gave them was a custom-built, client-inspired stage with multiple projection spaces, personalized lighting designs, and professional elegance to highlight the mission, message, and leadership of E2open.
When showtime finally arrived, the Cybis team was all-hands-on-deck. Since the talented people on our team tour with us for multiple events in our show season, they are equipped with the knowledge and experience of a smooth sailing production. Cybis continues to go above and beyond the call of duty, executing flawless excellence for our client’s live event experience.

Orlando Chooses Cybis
Cybis produces shows all over Central Florida for a range of different organizations by providing unparalleled audiovisual and event support.
The Orlando Economic Partnership has collaborated with Cybis on a number of high-profile projects over the last several years and considers Cybis to be a true partner in every sense of the word. From stage and event design to on-site show management, scripting, video production and beyond, the final product always exceeds expectations. — The Orlando Economic Partnership
Orlando continues to choose Cybis for all of its audiovisual and production needs — Cybis has produced shows all over Central Florida for a range of different organizations. We treat every production with the individual care and attention it deserves in order to exceed the expectations of the audience and our clients.
Over the past five years, Cybis has built a successful, mutually beneficial relationship with the Orlando Economic Partnership. With the many productions of their James B. Greene Awards Dinners, and the Alliance for Regional Transportation Kick-off Event in 2018, Cybis continues to partner with OEP and provide audiovisual support for various special events.
As the Orlando Economic Partnership began planning their yearly paramount event, they knew to put their trust in Team Cybis to produce the 2019 Annual Dinner. To recognize the region’s transformation as well as honor the recipients of the James B. Greene and Schwartz Innovation awards, this momentous occasion took place in the world-class Amway Center.
While this was our first time at the Amway Center, we are proud to have now served major events in all the large-scale venues in Orlando – Hard Rock Live, House of Blues, Dr. Phillips Center, Orange County Convention Center, and numerous Orlando and Disney area hotels.
In the case of OEP’s Annual Dinner, Cybis ensured that every aspect of the event would be a comprehensive and fluid experience. To maintain the night’s high energy, attendees migrated from the upscale reception in the Amway Center lobby to the Arena floor accompanied by upbeat music throughout the Center’s tunnels. The stage, designed by Cybis and built to represent infinite expansion, was beautifully lit; equipped with unique motion graphics; and surrounded by the colorful, custom arena ribbon. To tie the motion graphics to the city, Board members of OEP were introduced by the Orlando Magic’s announcer in front of personalized graphics inspired by the Magic team.
Tim Giuliani, President & CEO of the Orlando Economic Partnership, spoke to the audience of 800 about the state of the organization, state of Orlando, and release of the Orlando Prosperity Scorecard. The night concluded with a speech from Harris Rosen, the 2019 James B. Greene Award recipient, and President and COO of Rosen Hotels & Resorts. Cybis served as the Exclusive Production Sponsor for the event as OEP celebrated the economic progress and community development in the Orlando area.
The Orlando Economic Partnership represents seven counties in Central Florida and is involved in establishing partnerships through networks, supporting businesses, and developing the economic arena of the region. Cybis continues to support these types of organizations that cultivate growing groups and individuals to contribute to the betterment of our society and nation.

Producing and Branding NCA
With the help of Cybis, the newly-organized National Career Association has had their first ever National Career Development Conference—fully equipped with unique motion graphics, a custom set design, and a professional logo to establish the brand for the future.
With the inaugural National Career Development Conference on the horizon, the newly-formed National Career Association looked to Cybis to produce their very first live event! Starting off with an audience in the hundreds, Cybis was poised to support the event from pre-production all the way through to on-site execution. As with any new organization, NCA was also in need of a brand design, and Cybis was perfectly fit to serve all of their needs under one roof.
Following the creation of the NCA brand, Cybis got to work on the details. NCA emphasized how they wanted to go above and beyond for the first ever National Career Development Conference, to set the stage for future growth, so our pre-production began with conversations about creative and technical direction for the event. It was our goal to wow first-time event-goers and create an inspirational production experience for our true client: the audience!
During pre-production, the Cybis Team got to work connecting with the venue and coordinating all technical aspects of the event. Our audiovisual experts developed room and stage diagrams, along with gear lists and detailed production plans for the equipment Cybis provided. On the creative side, Cybis also developed the motion graphics and comprehensive design of the show. Providing Total Show Management and support meant Cybis had to make decisions about the stage design; video, audio, and lighting equipment; team staffing; and set building to create a program that was truly unforgettable.
When showtime finally arrived, Cybis brought our talented production team and stage manager to provide VIP coaching and leadership for this inaugural event. The NCDC serves as an opportunity to highlight members of NCA and recognize them for all of their achievements in career exploration programs. It was Cybis’ goal to elevate this organization and their mission through high quality production and creative elements. Seeing what was once an idea form into a complete organization with a clear brand and logo, to then seeing a stage and full event built around that brand, resulted in an immensely successful event with more opportunities ahead for Cybis and NCA!

In the Interim: Big Groups to Broadcasts
Cybis produced its flagship virtual event of the 2020 season, leading to rave reviews and blown away audiences.
With an anticipated live audience of over 12,000 attendees, HOSA-Future Health Professionals—like so many other organizations—had to bring their 2020 International Leadership Conference to a virtual platform.
This year, the Cybis Team flew to Dallas, TX to produce and broadcast the general sessions for HOSA’s online audience of over 6,000. Tucked away in a ballroom of the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, our team built a full set equipped with an LED screen, neon accents, a brilliant reflective stage, full lighting, and haze for dramatic effect. The leadership rehearsed and presented on-stage as normal… with the contingencies of wearing masks and staying 6’ apart.
Team Cybis followed all of the safety precautions on-site as well to ensure that we created a healthy environment for our team and representatives from HOSA: one person per 6-foot table, mandatory masks to be worn at all times, temperature checks at the beginning of each work day, hand sanitizer available all over the room, online team documents, individual hotel rooms, and social distancing on and off the work-site.
Over the course of seven days, our team travelled, set up, rehearsed, broadcasted seven general sessions, and struck the whole set. We received rave reviews from HOSA staff, members, and online participants.
It was one of the best [sessions] ever, regardless of whether it was online or in person. — Jeff Koeninger, Director of HOSA, Inc.
We were proud to produce this flagship virtual event and showcase our potential for other organizations as the industry faces tough decisions over the upcoming months. Our team will continue to adapt to the changing times and demands of virtual events, but we can’t wait to get back to the live productions we love most. In the interim, our team will be serving clients virtually whether we are together, miles away, or just six feet apart.

A Monumental Occasion
Our production team heads to the nation’s capitol for an outdoor event like no other.
Cybis Communications and Business Professionals of America collaborated and made history while hosting the Opening General Session on the lawn of the Washington Monument! At our first-time outdoor event, Team Cybis exceeded the trials of unexpected weather conditions, while a little rain didn’t dampen the students’ spirits either.
Three separate venues, complete show management, audiovisual support, and a unique event brand design working cohesively together, ensured that the +5,000 attendees had the time of their lives at this conference.
Clayton Carter, Cybis’ Creative Director who just celebrated his 10 year anniversary with the company, constructed an intro video for this conference that really stood out from the rest! The combination of still images, video, and audio of some of the most pivotal speeches held in D.C. history, made this show opener one to remember.
“We were excited to provide the audience with a true taste of our nation’s capital by holding the Opening Session on the National Mall, enveloping the crowd with history and iconic D.C. landmarks.”-Chase Simonds, Associate Producer
This National Conference will definitely Stand Out for years to come and we are honored to be a part of something so “monumental.”

A Health Dose of Promotion
This promotional video puts HOSA-Future Health Professionals at forefront of student leadership.
One student healthcare organization is leading the way to successful futures. Using the best footage captured by our videographers, our creative team prescribed a promotion video that is just what the doctor ordered.

Bold Brand Design
Venture: A single word with endless meaning for student leaders.
Venture – a single word with endless meaning for Washington DECA. And with that one word, Cybis designed an entire brand to support the school year and two state conferences.
By definition, venture means to take on a daring challenge, packed with considerable risk. The design incorporates three core icons associated with this special adventure. To a DECA member, the binoculars symbolize going the distance, and looking ahead toward their future. The flame represents the passion shared by DECA members, and the compass reminds members that DECA is their guide as they set a course to achieve their goals
The versatile design was adapted to numerous platforms, including posters, t-shirts, event programs, and other marketing collateral.

Cybis Solutions for- Bujay
Cybis had the privilege of producing BluJay Solutions’ annual SOAR Customer Conference for the second year in a row with custom staging, unique graphics, and fresh ideas.
Cybis has had the privilege of producing BluJay Solutions’ annual SOAR event since it came to Orlando in 2018. BluJay’s global customer conference serves as a hub for networking professionals, influential individuals, and industry solutions. While their company focuses on providing solutions to their customers, our team is focused on creating solutions for the show.
With Cybis’ commitment to Total Show Management for all of our clients, we aim to fulfill promises by exceeding expectations. During the pre-production phase of this project, we listened to the BluJay team’s vision for the event, environment, and stage. What we gave them was a custom-built, client-inspired stage with multiple projection spaces, personalized lighting designs, and professional elegance to highlight the mission, message, and leadership of BluJay Solutions. When the BluJay team requested a different direction for on-screen content, we knew we could get the job done. And we did: with parallax motion graphics, industry-oriented imagery, and client-specific designs.
When showtime finally arrived, the Cybis team was all-hands-on-deck. We put our best people up front to direct the show and our secret weapon backstage to choreograph the show; every key member of our group was in a position to elevate the entire event experience. Since the talented people on our team tour with us for multiple events in our show season, they are equipped with the knowledge and experience of a smooth sailing production. We know we can count on our team to go above and beyond the call of duty so that our clients can count on Cybis for flawless excellence in their live event experience.

Excellence in Scriptwriting
Tasked to write a script for an event themed Excellence in Action, we prepared a custom script that made their VIPs shine.
Because Cybis offers Total Show Management, we are able to completely tailor a live experience, ranging from the initial creative sketches to the final event production. One of the core components of this execution is a well-crafted script.
For Pennsylvania FBLA, we were tasked with producing an entire event around the theme Excellence in Action. Almost immediately, our scriptwriters got to work outlining our client’s goals for the event, and tailoring pivotal moments in the script’s message around their theme, Excellence in Action.
One way we pride ourselves is how we directly involve ourselves with the on-stage VIPs well in advance of the event. Several months out, we solicit their feedback and ideas for the show, giving them a unique, direct opportunity to craft their message with us from the very beginning, since they, after all, will be the ones on-stage ready to inspire their peers!
At Cybis, our scriptwriters work in tandem with our creative team, our client, and their VIPs to prepare scripts that are engaging and represent our client’s theme, and broader message, to the fullest.

Expert Data Management
Multiple rooms and dozens of presenters? Rest assured that Cybis has you covered.
With dozens of presentations, Americas Hernia Society trusted Cybis to manage and execute all of their presentations for the Annual Hernia Repair. Bringing together top surgeons from North and South America, the four day event hosts back-to-back presentations and workshops throughout multiple rooms.
From uploading and editing presentations at the tech stations, to ensuring speakers have an opportunity to practice with the actual software and hardware, our talented team of technicians guided each presenter through the process. After leaving our full-service Speaker Ready Room, speakers felt confident that their presentation would be cued up at the exact moment they walked on stage.
It’s exciting to be part of an event with top medical research experts from around the world. We treat each presentation like it’s the most important topic of the day.”-Michelle Garcia, Cybis Event Productions Coordinator

In The Interim Broadcasts

It Looks Good on You
Cutting-edge photography gives prospective healthcare workers a glimpse into their future careers.

In today’s high school environment, being career-focused, college-ready, and passionate is the cool thing to do. To help National HOSA increase awareness, drive membership, and continue to position its brand as the varsity starter squad of future health professionals, we developed the “It Looks Good On You” campaign.
We used our insight into HOSA’s history and brand identity to guide our brainstorming process. We worked to narrow down to something that’s relatable and current, but that will also last a long time.
Within these creative boundaries, we created a modern healthcare hero alter ego. The final designs show high-quality images of familiar student life (high school lockers, surfing and studying), while the other half shows a glimpse of an empowering future: scrubs and a stethoscope, a nurse’s face mask. There’s no better way to inspire future HOSA members to picture themselves in a future healthcare career.

Engage Your Audience
Cybis was the first to debut a state-of-the-art audience interaction system for 1,600+ high school students at this year’s Fall Leadership Conference!

At Cybis it’s all about the audience experience. As over 1,600 high school students gathered for Washington DECA’s Fall Leadership Conference, we didn’t ask for phones to be turned off. We made mobile part of the story.
Encompassing the year’s conference theme, Venture, Cybis traveled beyond the borders of traditional technology to debut an exciting, interactive software that attendees were able to download to their personal mobile devices. Using a state-of-the-art app, students had the ability to control what they saw and heard next by voting and participating in live polls. As answers were swarming in live, the scripts were adjusted in real-time to correspond with the audience results. Those who were most active using the app were even granted an exciting opportunity to participate in the hypnosis show that was a part of the conference’s entertainment session. Attendees were also able to access exclusive content only available on a mobile device.
Just as leaders should, they had the power to change what lay before them and truly venture above and beyond.

James B. Greene Awards
From script to stage, VIP management is always on our mind.
Any show is only as good as the talent on stage, and we take that to heart! From formatting scripts and coordinating choreography, to professional rehearsals with all speakers, we make the intricate pages come to life on stage – all starting from draft 1.
CYBIS had the pleasure to work with some of the most influential people in Orlando at this year’s James B. Greene Awards Ceremony. Each year, the Orlando Economic Development Commission (EDC) recognizes one individual for their extraordinary contributions to the Central Florida economy. This years honoree: Alex Martins, CEO of the Orlando Magic.
From the ground floor to the C-suite, we work together with all levels of VIPs to ensure anyone who walks the stage is fully prepped and looks like a natural. Whether speaking at the podium, performing on stage, presenting an award – or accepting one, with us it all results in the same outcome… a killer show!
It’s our job to ensure that all VIPs are 100% comfortable on stage. Whether it’s crafting the perfect message, relieving pre-show jitters, or cueing the big moment to step into the spotlight, we make sure that they look their best. The audience expects a certain level of confidence and bravado from these VIPs and Cybis ensures that attitude shines bright on-stage.
– Kenny Samsel, Cybis Stage Manager
Other notable speakers included Rick Weddle, President and CEO of the Orlando EDC; Tom Sittema, Chairman of the Orlando EDC and Chief Executive Officer of CNL Financial Group; and the Chairman’s Award honoree, Ken Potrock, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Disney Vacation Club and Adventures by Disney.

Mouthwatering Broadcast
VISIT ORLANDO
Covering all aspects of the industry – from chefs and restaurateurs to cookbook authors and food journalists to restaurant designers and architects and more – the James Beard Foundation Awards are the highest honors for food and beverage professionals working in North America. When the Semi-finalist Announcement Press Conference went to Florida, Visit Orlando teamed up with Cybis to host the culinary spectacle and stream it live across the nation. With a dash of local flare, the webcast provided a taste of Orlando’s vibrant culinary scene to a national audience.

Old & New
A classic venue gets a transfusion of modern for a high-tech event.
Built in 1889, the historic Church Street Station in Orlando, Florida is a one-of-a-kind venue. So when Orlando EDC partnered with Cybis to produce the 2014 Schwartz Tech Awards, we knew we needed to introduce modern, high-tech elements, while enhancing the historic and intricate architecture of the space.
With a lighting installation to highlight key structural details, the three story room came to life with splashes of color. A series of vertical TVs were hung around the venue to create optimal viewing from all perspectives. The pièce de résistance was a twelve feet tall center screen bordered by a custom frame surround matching the exact colors and styles of décor throughout the venue.
The result? A perfect blend of classic and modern fit befitting a high-tech awards ceremony.

Tomorrow Begins Today
Tomorrow Begins Today with an electric show for a state-wide conference.
For Florida FBLA, we designed a dynamic show to illustrate why Tomorrow Begins Today! Students from around the state of Florida competed with one another in events for Future Business Leaders. The show and stage design channeled this aspect of the future with an energizing lighting display and pulse pounding up-and-coming music to complement the futuristic conference identity. In addition to fabulous ambiance, Cybis incorporated an interactive pre show, inviting participants to the stage to show what makes them future leaders.

Unique Venue, Unique Experience
This unique New Orleans location brought new meaning to the phrase “not a bad seat in the house.”
.jpeg)
We know how powerful an atypical event space can be. That’s why we do whatever it takes to embrace and build around unique venues to transform them into breathtaking live show spaces.
When we flew in to support TRI Leadership Resources’ Preserve America Summit at the historical U.S. Custom House, this one-of-a-kind New Orleans venue was still recovering from recent Hurricane Katrina damage. The city was just getting on its feet again, and while the incredible, distinctive architectural style of this venue was visually stunning, it wasn’t meant to be an event space.
With reconstruction just beginning, utility services unreliable, and literally holes in the floor, this special space was worth every effort to transform and make suitable for the First Lady.-Jeff Douglass, Executive Producer
Yet, we simply knew that the event had to be in this unique space. And that meant we had to get creative. We got to work knowing we had to make this old-world venue suit our new-world technology.
To work around the massive columns that peppered the event floor, we brought in risers to create a raised seating areas for several hundred people. We used photos and measurements to create a 3D rendering of the room to guarantee that every seat in the house could see the projection screens — which we adjusted and flipped vertically to suit the space, as well. To ensure the safety of every participant, we coordinated with a structural engineer to certify that the room would be able to hold the weight of the risers, participants, and equipment.
The result: A stunning event and not a bad seat in the house!

Walk on the Wild Side
Cybis brings the heat of the African Savanna to the metropolitan Midwest.
Cybis proudly produced the DECA Central Region Leadership Conference (CRLC) in Omaha, Nebraska, causing the chilly winter temperatures to rise with a savanna-inspired stage design. The theme “Wild About DECA” was fueled by highly contrasted reds and oranges paired with jungle animal-print graphics. Team Cybis transformed the CenturyLink Center ballroom into a sizzling jungle oasis with fresh foliage, custom graphics, and high-end lighting fixtures.
Again, thanks for everything. You brought our vision to life and I can’t express how proud I was to have you on our conference team!-Nicole Coffey, Nebraksa Department of Education

From bold intros to flawless event branding, Cybis hit the mark every time. Discover how we create complete, stage-ready products on the first try.
At Cybis, we believe the best time to impress a client is the first time. That’s why every project begins with a level of intention and care, striving to make our first drafts feel like final products.
Behind every standout show is a wealth of pre-production insight. We take time to understand the client’s values, audience, and goals and pair that knowledge with years of collaboration and trust. When clients know we understand their brand and how they like to work, it breeds confidence. That rapport allows us to anticipate creative choices before they’re even requested. The result is work that connects from day one while leaving room for the client’s voice every step of the way.
Our clients know we “get it,” and that confidence saves them time and decision fatigue, especially in the high-energy weeks before a major event. By the time we deliver a first draft, the hard part is already done: listening.
That trust shows up in the details. Take our “Defaults,” for example. These are the background graphics and transitions that carry an event’s look and feel. Clients rarely ask to see these in advance because they already know they’ll be on-brand and ready to run.
The same confidence carries into our intro videos. Picture this: the lights dim, music swells, and the event bursts to life on screen. Clients often choose not to preview these pieces because they trust us to deliver content that is both on-message and inspiring. This allows them to experience the moment for the first time right alongside their audience, sharing in the excitement and energy of a powerful opening. Each year, we build on what we’ve learned about their taste and style and ensure every intro sets the tone for an unforgettable event.
Delivering a “wow” first draft isn’t just about creativity. Fewer revisions mean more time for our clients to focus on what matters most: launching their event, promoting their message, and making an impact. With strong pre-production and a deep understanding of each client’s vision, we ensure the first draft feels like the final word. That’s why at Cybis, you’re in good hands from first reveal to final applause.

Cybis' Virtual Conquest
With live events on hold, Cybis turns to new alternatives to exceed our clients’ expectations.

With live events temporarily on hold, Cybis has risen to new creative challenges to engage our virtual audiences. From April through May, we began production for five organizations and eight virtual events. Our goal was to create streamed awards shows that would serve as the “next best thing” to experiencing a live Cybis production.
Team Cybis is accustomed to rehearsing and executing productions, together, in perfect synchronized harmony with on-stage talent. Our greatest reward is the immediate feedback from an enthusiastic live audience. On this occasion, we adapted our passion, from our living rooms and kitchen counters, to continue serving Cybis’ mission – to inspire our audience to achieve.
Along with the leadership of our clients, Team Cybis collaborated from across the nation. We produced live streams through a detailed multi-level editing process, revisions, long rendering times, multiple reviews, and stream testing. We produced each virtual show with the same custom motion graphics; special speaker videos; exciting music mixes and professional announcers, that Cybis is known for.
The thousands of viewers who watched and re-watched the sessions confirmed the value this has had for so many. Cybis showed its ability to adapt and conquer the virtual event space for our loyal clients and wonderful student organizations.
There have been multiple positive comments about the quality and professionalism of tonight’s PA FBLA Virtual Awards of Excellence Program. I want to commend you for an outstanding job – well done. This is something that students will remember for a long time as a positive moment in their lives.
Bruce Boncal,
Pennsylvania FBLA Executive Director
As the situation evolves over the next couple months, Cybis is planning more creative approaches to gradually bring the “live” element back to events. We will build custom sets in commercial studios—featuring on-stage leaders in a single location again—and resume bringing our production team together (all with respect to social distancing, of course). These hybrid motivational and awards shows will be streamed live to viewers in their homes but possess much of the same magic as the typical live Cybis production. Featuring original designs, multiple cameras, powerful graphics and custom soundtracks, we are excited to continue making an impact on audiences across the nation.
Of course, we continue to count down the days until audiences can come together again and we hope to be right there with you!

Cybis Solutions for BluJay SOAR

Setting the Stage for the Future
With 3D mapping tools and animation software, we “set the stage” for our biggest project and HOSA’s biggest event of the year.
As Cybis began its biggest project of the season, the HOSA-Future Health Professionals geared up for their biggest event: the annual International Leadership Conference. For over a decade, Cybis has supported HOSA’s biggest event of the year, both in significance to the organization and in audience size.
Simultaneously with the development of scripts, we began “setting the stage” in late March. In a meeting of Cybis’ creative leaders, we took inspiration from the 2019 theme “Define Your Purpose” to begin preliminary stage designs. Outfitted with a “book” as the centerpiece—two projection screens adjacent to one another—the exterior pieces of the stage began to take on the characteristics of a library. We added projection pieces on each side of the “book” to be used as “shelves,” where we projected books, scientific artifacts, medical tools, and conference information. But then, we wanted to do more! We extended the design horizontally with large parallelograms; to continue to build on the book theme, we projected book spines on to them with even more event information. And to top it off, we placed a marquee above the set to anchor the design and give residence to ticker text with overarching event content.
Iteration after iteration, we began to build on our stage renders. With the help of 3D mapping and animation software, we built the stage to scale, factoring in every detail including lighting and presenters on stage. We even added our new, custom-built, digital podium into the mix. In the end, we developed a design unique to the organization, the theme, and to our team.
By late June, the stage came to life. Serving as a place not only for award winners to receive their medals, plaques, and trophies, the HOSA stage set the foundation for future health professionals to begin their journeys. Cybis continues to support student leadership groups in an effort to better the generations of the future.

Pre-Show Showcase
Cybis provides red carpet treatment to all of our clients and guests… literally.
Cybis is committed to providing red carpet treatment to all of our clients and guests — this year we fulfilled this promise literally at the Business Professionals of America’s National Leadership Conference. Right outside the Anaheim Convention Center Arena in California, we rolled out the red carpet as 6,000 members, advisors, and guests arrived on Opening night.
Fully equipped with a plush red carpet, gold stanchions, and enthusiastic host, everyone entering the arena was greeted like a true celebrity. The entire event was webcast live for those at home to see the excitement; everyone attending or watching remotely could tweet at us, which was also broadcast live. The red carpet pre-show aired for the audience already inside the arena, creating a totally unscripted presentation of enthusiastic members stoked about BPA and the NLC. We brought the lights, cameras, AND action with interviews, shout outs, and chants from states all over the nation.
This event element was just as exciting for Team Cybis as it was the attendees. Having so much energy from so many walks of life made our 45 minutes of red carpet one for the books. Many had never been on a red carpet or been in front of the camera, so this felt like an extraordinary experience for some, including a 3-year member of BPA who elaborated on the scene:
“It’s definitely something I’ve never experienced before, so it’s nice for us small town people to get to see. It’s amazing… definitely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us.”

Hilton Hospitality
Not just a hotel company: Cybis dives into the heart of Hilton to produce videos for their Ignite Marketing Summit
Cybis recently produced video content for a global corporate meeting held by well-known brand, Hilton, which hosted their Marketing Summit in Denver, CO. International members of Hilton’s Marketing Team gathered for an interactive and engaging experience designed to make attendees feel motivated, connected, and inspired.
While the summit was intended to demonstrate the role that marketing plays in moving Hilton forward, Cybis was hired to execute the creative side of the message’s delivery. In the form of a newscast, Hilton hoped to relay some of their points in pre-produced news material that would tie in to the live “news-desk” presentations at the event.
As the Team came up with a series of pre-recorded segments to intertwine with the live production, Cybis was off to shoot D.C.-based interviews with Hilton executives. An action-packed trip full of growth stories, marketing tactics, catering contributions, and value propositions within the Hilton portfolio gave Cybis a plethora of quality content to work with. Simultaneously, other members of the Team produced a professional broadcast-quality animated news opener and ending segment for the newscast. With the swift and skillful development of these videos, The Hilton News Network—later adapted to be Hilton News Today—had finally come to fruition.
We are pleased to have maintained our standard of success in our new partnership with Hilton. Once again, Cybis proved our ability to excel at going above and beyond for our clients with polished corporate communication, exciting creativity, and ambitious enthusiasm to make our productions the best they can be.

Massive Mission
Cybis reconvened with its long-time partner, HOSA-Future Health Professionals, to produce an awards conference for its largest audience in a single room!
Summer of 2018 marked a new milestone for Cybis as we took on the production of HOSA’s 41st Annual International Leadership Conference. For the first time in Cybis’ history, ~10,000 students and members gathered together in one enormous hall to celebrate the sheer magnitude of this future-focused organization and the importance of their mission.
With everything being bigger in Texas, the 2018 ILC in Dallas allowed Cybis the space to create something special. We came up with more creative ways to excite the members of HOSA-Future Health professionals: bigger screens, a large center stage entrance, and the set’s focal point: a spherical globe projection screen. All of these elements were used to attract attention from every corner of the gigantic space.
To highlight the high-level goals of HOSA, Cybis coordinated a glorious introduction to the conference with a pyrotechnic show along with lazers and music as well as an exciting video to hype up the audience and bring awareness to the unique impact of the organization.
With a large audience comes large responsibility, and Cybis rose to the challenge. Pre-shows were a party, general sessions filled the hall with roars of excitement, and outros attracted crowds of students eager to take photos on the elaborate custom stage. Everyone in attendance left with elated energy, marking another successful production for Cybis and HOSA-Future Health Professionals.

Cybis Soars with AV
BluJay Solutions called upon Cybis for their SOAR Customer Conference to support all of their audio/visual needs
For a rapidly advancing business like BluJay Solutions, obtaining and maintaining customers is the key to its growth and success as a supply chain software company. To celebrate the performance of their top companies and partners, BluJay prepared to host their second annual SOAR Customer Conference in Orlando, Florida, home of Cybis Communications.
Brian Toy, BluJay’s Director of Corporate Marketing, had worked with Cybis just three years before on a very successful corporate conference at another company. After recently reconnecting, Brian informed us he was so happy with our work, he wanted Team Cybis for an upcoming BluJay production.
With a new, exciting corporate event at hand, Cybis was prepared to support all of BluJay’s audio/visual needs from equipment to creative design and all the way up to total show management. Cybis’ blend of scenic and technical professionals allowed the team to conduct effective pre-planning and have the most acute attention to every detail in production.
Using Vectorworks, a 3D software tool, Cybis was able to plan, design, construct, and preview the fully built-out ballroom and stage before arriving to the venue.
Equipped with a custom lighting package including moving lights, beam lights, and a RoadHog4 lighting console, our team created a truly unique atmosphere by illuminating the stage, room, and walls with all of the colors from the SOAR theme.
Knowing that winners were to be announced and important messages needed to be heard, Cybis’ provided the audio console, speakers, and wireless microphones that contributed to an engaging and successful audio experience.
Last but not least, we brought BluJay to the big screen with 4K projectors, 75” LED monitors, and a completely custom show graphics package with high-definition animations and personalized introductions.
As setup began, the technical side of production was underway and preparation for the show commenced. Team Cybis understands that quality comes from rehearsals. “Rehearsals, rehearsals, rehearsals” from lighting cues to speaking parts, from mic checks to graphics testing, from pre-show to outro. The solid technical execution Cybis is able to achieve is largely a result of this thorough preparedness. There is no facet of show production Cybis cannot support; and with this type of total show management, satisfaction from our clients is guaranteed.
Members of BluJay Solutions reported overjoyed reviews from customers and attendees, and are expecting increased attendance for the next customer conference. Brian Toy followed up with Cybis after the event to express his gratitude and pass along a positive message:
We’d like the same crew for next year. They were all awesome. Got compliments from the keynote speakers even that you all were some of the best production & stage crew they had ever worked with.
— Brian Toy, Director of Corporate Marketing, BluJay Solutions

Stage for the Masses
Members of the Cybis team were inspired to put their heads together and design a unique stage that would engage its largest live audience to date.
In preparation for HOSA’s International Leadership Conference―the first of its kind, including members from other countries around the world―Cybis used its 22 years of experience producing live shows to develop some of its most creative work. With an audience that required the use of two Disney resort ballrooms, Cybis needed to design two unique stages that would captivate those in each room. The team involved in the stage design process integrated some of Cybis’ most elaborate designs for the HOSA sets. Adorned with hand-made structures that shined and amazed, both stages were designed to be easily seen by over 10,000 attendees – both Cybis and HOSA’s largest audience in their decade of partnership.
Faced with such a large conference, the Cybis team was motivated to think outside the box and breathe extra creative life into the production. What the team came up with was all-encompassing―big stages with multiple screens, ballrooms full of color, lighting and construction of the stages used to create volume and depth on the set with different textures and dynamic designs―the integration of everything enveloped the action happening up front.
With the extravagant stage designs in place, it was up to the rest of the team to make everything flow together. Calculated stage choreography coupled with predetermined camera shots and dazzling graphics projected on a 60-foot LED video screen allowed us to highlight all of the important accomplishments of those dedicated to HOSA’s cause. Cybis not only wanted to celebrate HOSA’s 40th International Leadership Conference, but to also emphasize in a big way the critical need of health professionals in our society.
In order to convey the important message of this huge organization, the Cybis team came up with a purpose-driven video to kick off the beginning of the conference. The introduction portrayed HOSA’s mission while inspiring the audience to pursue the various health fields that exist and have yet to be created. The video incorporated the large LED screen as well as (12) 4K televisions and two 20-foot projection screens to physically emphasize the huge impact of HOSA-Future Health Professionals. In addition to communicating the benefits of joining a health profession and making a difference, the video itself was designed to catalyze the passions of the audience members and motivate them to “lead, learn, serve, and innovate.”

ThinkBack On It
Cybis produces memorable videos to engage viewers even after the conclusion of their conferences.
As members come and go through their organization’s multi-day conferences, they are often so caught up in all of the activities that they seem to be over as quickly as they began, with only a blur of amazing memories. Many forget to take time to document such an important part of their journey as students and business leaders. While Cybis strives to create the best experiences possible in the present, the team also aims to capture and preserve the spirited emotions of those that attend.
By having photographers and videographers always around during workshops and presentations, our team is able to seize the happiest faces, most exciting times, and sheer authenticity of these moments. Cybis consolidates the highlights of the event into a video that allows attendees to “ThinkBack” on their experiences leading up to the conclusion of the conference.
While anticipation for the excitement of the closing session grows, the Cybis team works hard to not only put on an entertaining show but also bring all of the greatest moments together. These memories are edited into a ThinkBack video with a moving soundtrack right onsite to present for the hundreds or thousands of attendees. These videos become available online after the event to forever be a part of an organization’s successful journey to professional leadership.

Making A Moment
Cybis integrates all aspects of show production to create memorable experiences for live audiences.
One of the most difficult undertakings in life is not only being able to capture a moment, but also being able to create one. With a speciality in total show management, Cybis Communications has the ability to integrate all aspects of live show production to truly make an experience memorable for its audiences around the country.
In 2016, the Business Professionals of America celebrated their 50th Anniversary since the organization’s foundation. 50 years of molding young adults into the future business professionals of the world is an accomplishment that truly deserved to be recognized. Given the fortunate opportunity, Cybis integrated pre-production, identity development, script writing, lighting, audio, stage design, and post-production to capture all that BPA has accomplished and what it genuinely means to be part of the organization. In a unique, creative, and heartfelt effort to make the conference special for everyone in attendance, Cybis was able to create a moment for the audience to celebrate the remarkable opportunities that the Business Professionals of America has granted its members and the significant impact it has made on their lives.
Aside from focusing so much of the conference theme around the importance of the anniversary, the Cybis team utilized its creative expertise by kicking off the opening session with a pinnacle celebratory moment following the parade of flags. In a short video featuring the year’s national officer team, Cybis highlighted the Business Professionals of America’s greatest values and achievements on top of an inspirational soundtrack that not only moved the audience but also amplified their anticipation. With the combination of the officer team and representatives from all the states on stage, the finale of the video, timing of the on-screen image, and explosion of streamers and music, Cybis elegantly produced an impactful moment that engaged the audience and highlighted this significant milestone in the organization’s history.

Trace Chanel’s prestigious legacy of fashion tradition.
The name Coco Chanel brings to mind luxurious fashions. Diamond and crystal studded styles for the high society individual. This prestigious brand merges tradition with innovative design. Cybis got in on the glitz and glam of Chanel’s fashion shows by creating a brand video with the mission to keep it classy. High fashion runway models sport various Chanel products and bass notes bounce along with spotlights on the famous logotype.

Louis Vuitton
These products have quality sophistication in the bag!
Louis Vuitton is one of the world’s leading international fashion houses of leather patterned bags and fashions. Their products are world renowned for sophistication and a legacy brand. Cybis brings the luxury in their video for the famous company. A jazzy overture pumps Parisian charm while high fashion profiles depict style through the decades. The promotional video also demonstrates the expert craftsmanship that goes into every work of art.

The Perfect Tree
Follow one family’s forest frolicking for a fancy fir.
Nothing brings families together like the time honored tradition of searching out the yearly Christmas tree. Not any Christmas tree will do, however. We join one such family in their quest to find The Perfect Tree. Each family member has a different idea of what makes a tree “perfect” however mom has the final say. We track the family’s adventure through the forest as they go from fir to fir and, just as the day is drawing to an end, a magical moment occurs. Cybis was on site to film the family’s journey through the woods, using camera rigs, tracking, and even a drone shot of the magical landscape to convey our tale. This LED video for the Mall at Millenia’s Grand Court envelopes the magical wonder of the Holiday Season, and wraps everyone in the warm sentiment of what Christmas is truly about.

Partners for Presidential Success
The White House tasked the Cybis team with communicating the victories of its economic aid programs to a gathering of world dignitaries.
After completing eight successful projects for the Bush Administration, Cybis was called to Washington, D.C. again in 2008 for one final opportunity to showcase some Presidential storytelling magic. Our task was to help communicate the Bush Administration’s successes on its international efforts to create sustainable economies in oppressed countries. With an assembly of high-level diplomats and activists, the Cybis creative team knew this project required more than just a fancy logo. In collaboration with TRI Leadership Resources, the Cybis-TRI partnership put its teams’ best together to accomplish this honorable challenge.
In order to make the White House Summit beyond what anyone could imagine, it needed a memorable brand and identity complete with stage design, video, signage, and print materials, along with a show that flowed and communicated the emotions of world-changing U.S. aid policies.
On top of these creative responsibilities, the difficulties of working to impress a high-profile audience; making late-night, last-minute changes (every night); and having to evacuate during a security sweep minutes before show time, the project pushed the limits for a young company like Cybis… but by collaborating with Team TRI, it was nothing they couldn’t handle with confidence. The agile, small but powerful teams of creative technicians moved quickly and effectively over all the obstacles and delivered an event that was flawless, memorable, and globally praiseworthy.
In the end, the sharply designed banners, signage, print collateral, staging, lighting, video elements, and logistics/planning leadership from Team TRI engaged VIPs from the moment they entered the door through to the program’s emotional conclusion. It made all of Cybis proud, both for how our great country has helped support such important international causes, and because of our own team’s effort to help communicate and promote it.
“This project was a great example of the quality we deliver when we are the total provider. The extra-level of quality control we had over the entire process, combined with our youthful and driven spirit, enabled us to make it great…not just settle.” – Jeff Douglass, CEO

Drawn to Infographics
Cybis drew up a new promotional video for Ernst and Young’s Medivation Telestration.
Cybis Communications had the opportunity to design a custom telestration for Ernst & Young’s project with Medivation. This impressive client is one of the “Big Four” audit firms and the third largest professional services firm in the world. Our creative team took a new approach to this corporate promo by incorporating hand drawn infographics and animation to explain the company’s message. This fun style of hand drawn, time lapse animation, combined with an upbeat song and a direct message help both entertain and connect with the viewer.
Everyone really liked the video. It made the client look good, and it made us look good… It made us all look good.– Tim Garipa, Advisory at Ernst & Young

Owning The Stage

Prestige. Elegance. Style.
Elegant 3D graphics sparkle on the screens.
The Cupolas, much like “The Emmy’s” both in praise and honors, is a grand awards ceremony held to celebrate the associates of the CNL Financial Group. The symbolic Cupola is the pinnacle of achievement at CNL and the prestigious crystal award goes out to the individuals whose efforts make a world of a difference. It truly is a special recognition and we treated it as such. No detail was spared when we transformed the crystal award into a state of the art 3D graphics package for the 2015 CNL Cupola Awards. The end result: high class graphics gleaming out of the screens, and no 3D glasses were required!
Everything was so elegant, fresh, fun, and well run! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Well done!
-Lisa Schultz, Chief Services Officer – CNL Financial Group

Caution: Road Work Ahead
Bright lights and big signs that are sure to catch your eye.
Travel back in time to 1926, as we road trip to Springfield, Missouri – birthplace of Route 66. Alive with gleaming red arrows adorning mom-and-pop diners and with traces of the Mother Road still visible in downtown Springfield today — this was the inspiration behind our identity. With all this in mind, we stepped it up and custom built our own road sign to quite literally bring our logo to life on the stage!
The vibrant red arrow has the classic large bulbs and with neon lights all around the logo, it really gives the sign some flash, evoking excitement and energy! To complete this road trip, we added some mile markers, and of course had to have the Route 66 sign incorporated. Oh, and the big arc across the stage? We thought we’d bring more of Missouri’s landmarks to the stage. Ready for your next road trip? We can bring it all to one place!

Future Forward
Bringing a brand to life from concept to execution.
Our approach to branding is like genealogy.
The heart of your brand is your family crest. It means something. It’s a nod to where you come from, but it also takes a stand about what you stand for — the characteristics of your identity that won’t go away or fade with time as your organization pivots and grows.
“Many companies love their brand, image, and look,” says Cybis Creative Director Clayton Carter. “When your brand is familiar to your customers and competitors, it’s important to include a nod to that design in the lineage of that brand.”
At CYBIS, we call this family crest your brand DNA. It’s the essence of your brand that helps you maintain that balance between consistent and revolutionary, comfortable and competitive. And that’s just the approach we used when developing HOSA’s annual marketing and event Identity “The Future Starts Now.”
HOSA’s clean, futuristic, modern design DNA, resulted in presentations that are clearly HOSA but also clearly the future of health professionals.
Leaning on a brand’s core values, we create full suites of identity products that match a brand’s DNA, conceiving a lineage of familiar, instantly recognizable elements that are also fresh and new.
It may be a little cheesy, but it’s true: every design choice you make is an opportunity to pioneer your future and forge a history you can look back on with pride.

Presidential Flair
Cybis delivered first class services at a unique Washington D.C. expo.
.jpeg)
Team Cybis paid a visit to Capitol Hill to help a Washington D.C. think tank make a major impact for the 2011 Aspen Institute’s Education Innovation Forum and Expo. Coupled with TRI Leadership’s strategic planning and stage management services, Cybis was able to provide some presidential flair to their creative media, as well as provide expert technical support.
We worked to implement the organization’s logo into the conference signage and scenic elements, as well as created compelling motion graphics that flowed across the screen. The event’s purpose was to foster innovation and creativity in public school education, and as educational thinkers and investors from countless sectors came together to support the cause, Cybis was proud to have a presence amongst them as a leader in innovative and cutting-edge show technology.

A stunning display of imagery splashed across forty feet of 3D space.
When producing an event for the convention and visitors bureau of the nation’s number one travel destination, communicating powerful visuals is key. This made our custom-built 40′ wide projection mapping set the perfect choice for displaying a montage of central Florida imagery.
Custom motion graphics, photos and video brought the stage to life as content floated from wall to wall at Visit Orlando’s Annual Industry Insights & Marketing Luncheon. Featuring projection mapping technology, two giant curved walls of the 3D set provided the perfect backdrop for the high-profile event.
Team Cybis, I just wanted to send a note with a big THANK YOU for the awesome show production at our Visit Orlando’s Industry Insights & Marketing Luncheon event last week! Your team always does a stellar job at making us look great with artistic graphics, creative presentations and wonderful onsite execution. We’re looking forward to entertaining our members at the next event and continuing our event partnership throughout the year.-Laura Buck, Visit Orlando Trade Shows & Events Senior Planner

A Healthy Dose of Promotion
This promotional video puts HOSA-Future Health Professionals at forefront of student leadership.
One student healthcare organization is leading the way to successful futures. Using the best footage captured by our videographers, our creative team prescribed a promotion video that is just what the doctor ordered.

Old and New
A classic venue gets a transfusion of modern for a high-tech event.

Breaking Barriers
The course is set for approach to the top business student event of the year.
Go further. Go faster. Go beyond, with this promo video for FBLA-PBL’s 2011 National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Creative Fulfillment
Cybis goes beyond creative design to offer complete printing and mailing management services.
Each fall, Cybis helps spread the word to hundreds of thousands of students across the United States that consider Business Professionals of America as the organization for them! In addition to designing a series of posters, postcards, and folders, we also manage all aspects of the fulfillment process- from printing to custom mailing to high schools across the nation.

Promo Video with Impact
This edgy promo video blends powerful motion graphics with world-class videography.
We took our best footage, a driving soundtrack and edgy motion graphics, then injected a dose of powerful copy to make an impact on the world’s future health professionals. Check out the promotional video for HOSA’s 2012 National Leadership Conference: Impact Your Future.

The Prestige of Science
Setting the stage for the presentation of the National Academies Keck Futures Initiative Communication Awards.
The National Academies Keck Futures Initiative (NAKFI) believes that successful communication is fundamental to advancing the future of the Sciences, Medicine, and Engineering. As the top minds in science in the country came together, Cybis developed the powerful opening sequence to kickstart the conference. By sorting through hours of footages and images, our team of creative designers crafted intro videos for the 2012 and 2013 events.

Cybis creates an epic movie trailer style promo for FBLA and wins an Oscar®. Well, not quite an Oscar®, but close enough!
In a world…
where movie trailer editing…
is an art form all its own…
one company…
knew what needed to be done…
and dared to go there…
BIG TIME.
Inspired by the magical, action-packed, and absolutely riveting movie trailers that rocked movie theaters and Apple TVs across the nation in the summers of 2009-2011, the Cybis creative team wanted in on the action. Our target: the 2012 FBLA National Leadership Conference promo. In an effort to break the mold for student leadership promos, we all agreed that a simple but dramatic trailer would really add mystery, intrigue and intensity to FBLA’s premier annual event.
The strategy: find a driving orchestral soundtrack worthy of a Hollywood tentpole feature, then combine it with potent, weighty copy, slow motion footage, strong (but simple) titles and one heck of a lot of floating particles. The result: we’d created, in just a matter of days, a bombastic, mindboggling trailer that gave the studio goose bumps on its maiden play.
Months later, we’d have the opportunity to submit several of our projects for judging in the 2012 Communicator awards – an award for successes in advertising, branding and video production. After several weeks of waiting, nail-biting and anticipation we got the letter we’d been waiting for! Our video had won an Award of Excellence in the category of promotion! It came with a nice shiny silver trophy.
We added it to our collection and agreed to never put out work that isn’t worthy of either silver or gold bad boys.

An Elegant Affair
An evening of celebration and entertainment …and all that jazz!
Cybis helped Visit Orlando celebrate its 30th Anniversary with an elegant environmental design, regal show graphics, and powerful evening of entertainment.
“What an awesome night! You outdid yourselves. We are receiving rave reviews. Yay!!! I can’t thank you enough for going on the journey with me and for all of your help and patience along the way. The room looked great and the production side of the event was amazing ”
-Julie Martinez, Visit Orlando
Director of Trade Shows & Event

A Splash of Color
A splash of color and a sea of creativity.
We made a splash with these original print pieces designed for Georgia FBLA in the 2011-2012 academic year. From posters to brochures, programs and logos, we developed a bold “Dive In” brand.

Live from the Red Carpet
Cybis brings the glitz and glamour to a special red carpet event.
Cybis made its way to Anaheim, California to produce the BPA National Leadership Conference for over 6,000 attendees. Through graphics, lights, and decor, Cybis turned the “Shoot for Success” NLC into a dazzling red carpet event!
BPA members experienced the A-list treatment as they stepped into the spotlight and onto the red carpet, welcoming them to the Anaheim Convention Center in style. Featuring a live emcee and randomly-selected audience members, celebrity-style interviews were shown live on screen across the web.
This show was so rewarding to work on because we were able to bring the big Hollywood awards feel to thousands of deserving students; making them the star of their own show. You could see their excitement as they were walking down the red carpet. I think it is all about providing the audience the best experience in an event and it was great to be able to deliver that.-Chase Simonds, Cybis Associate Producer

Bringing together executives from Fortune 500 Companies, government officials, and local business executives, Orlando EDC’s One Orlando Summit was attended by the best of the best. Highlighted by Jim Clifton, Chairman and CEO of Gallup, other VIP talent came from CNL Financial Group, Disney, the Orange County Mayor’s Office, Mears Transportation, any many others.

Something to Smile About
VISIT ORLANDO
Hundreds of people wearing yellow and black gathered in Orlando to create the world’s largest human smiley face. Coinciding with World Smile Day®, Visit Orlando teamed up with Cybis to manage the special event’s logistics.
Amongst the participants, dressed in yellow and black ponchos, were travelers from across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany and Brazil. The human smiley face was about the size of a basketball court and set the Guinness World Record for the biggest smiley face.
Cybis lead the full event’s logistics. First, we developed an innovative system to accommodate an unknown number of people and quickly organize them into the smiley face. The Guinness World Record authority has strict rules regarding the length of time to form and hold the shape, as well as rules against drawing on the ground. Thanks to Cybis’ system, we were able to pull this off flawlessly.
Team Cybis provided the official counters, official clock, aerial photography points, audio/PA support, event signage, and leadership during the event. We appreciate Visit Orlando’s trust in Cybis to help set a world record!

Just Press Send
Cybis puts control of the show at the touch of the audience’s fingertips.
Cybis continuously strives to deliver cutting edge shows, and Washington DECA’s Fall Leadership Conference was the perfect time to introduce an interactive twist that would connect with the audience in a whole new way.
Cybis integrated text messaging into the shows in order to interact with the audience, let their voices be heard, and relay the students’ opinions to hundreds of other members. As the members entered the venue, their eyes were drawn to the screen where the graphics perfectly outlined how to get involved in texting. A simple text with their vote allowed the audience to choose the next music video played, and ultimately decide if rock, rap, or pop would be booming from the speakers. The “choose your own adventure” texting feature also allowed the audience vote on in polls such as selecting their favorite sports team and what they wanted to get out of their DECA membership.
“The integration of real-time text messaging into the sessions really excited the crowd. It was great to see nearly every audience member in the room pull out a cell phone to interact with questions asked on screen during the session!”-Chase Simonds, Associate Producer
The responses from the attendees not only got the entire audience involved, but most importantly it influenced the show script and led to a more engaging experience. Our production team was able to capture the real-time reactions of the audience members and deliver a presentation that was customized to the Washington DECA audience. The texting allowed the attendees to feel like they had a say in the show’s content while comparing their responses to those of their peers. The viewers quickly turned into show participants, which allowed for a heightened energy and excitement throughout the room.

Ascend to new heights with a stage design that brings the Emerald City indoors.
In the Northwestern United States one skyline ascends above all others. When DECA’s Western Region Leadership Conference ventured to new heights in the home of the Space Needle, we knew our stage design needed to reflect elements of the iconic city.
Staggered structures of varying heights evoked the skyline of the Northwestern city. Glowing truss towers and vibrant, illuminated panels brought the elements indoors. An ever-scrolling view of the misty Seattle skyline cascaded through projection screens to complete the design.

Full Revolution
An elegant evening to support central Florida’s only Level One trauma center.
What does it take to produce an event in one of the world’s top malls? We ventured to The Mall at Millenia’s Grand Court for an elegant evening with the Orlando Health Foundation to find out. One Night: In the Moment put attendees in the center of twelve LED screens for 360 degree video content. Reflecting the twelve points on a clock and the race against time experienced when a tragedy occurs, the event’s theme came to life in the physical space.

A Knight to Remember
Cybis never looked so good in a tuxedo. And until now, neither had UCF’s Black & Gold Gala.
With the sprawling University of Central Florida in our backyard, it’s no wonder that our Orlando studio and even our nationwide team call themselves Knights. Both CEO, Jeff and founding Creative Director, Clayton, are proud UCF alumni. Through a network of connections at the school, Cybis was granted the tremendous opportunity to produce the UCF Alumni Association’s annual gala awards ceremony in the newly christened state-of-the-art arena.
The event, celebrating the achievements of UCF Alumni (including our very own Jeff Douglass), was to be an elegant, black-tie affair on the center court of the new Arena. Cybis was commissioned to design the entire event, starting with the identity then on to the staging, lighting, graphics, audio direction and even the printed event program.
Our designs featured the iconic UCF star, Polaris, against gilded textures and sparkles. The event was a Cybis classic, featuring a magnificent stage, a powerful intro and an emotive mix of music to guide the audience through the evening. Jeff, Clayton and about 300 other UCF alumni were proud to be Knights that night.

Solar System
Travel across the galaxy in under 90 seconds, flat.
Playing off the sense of space and depth in the Grand Court at the world famous Mall at Millenia, we position an assortment of planets both known, and yet-to-be discovered, across the 360 degree screen display. Guests enjoy observing the gaseous, rocky, and earth-like textures of each planet as they slowly rotate around the room from screen to screen. Asteroids and comets occasionally pass by, creating excitement and intrigue for the shoppers below. The Mall at Millenia attracts shoppers from around the globe to browse their out of this world high fashion. This LED three screen exhibition of space showcases how Cybis went above and beyond to immerse viewers in an alien world.

Blueprint to Promotion
From the sketch pad to design and filming to animation, this national promo video becomes a hit.
When it comes to promoting Business Professionals of America’s 2015 National Leadership Conference, we sought to showcase all the hardwork and dedication that students put into the organization, and where it can take them.
With BPA, if you dare to imagine and have the faith to believe, there is no limit to what you can become.

Leader of the Pack
Annual branding for the nation’s top organization preparing future health professionals.
Step up to every challenge that comes your way with the 2014-2015 HOSA identity “LEAD”. We were instantly inspired by the strength and boldness of the word “lead”. HOSA members exuberate these qualities and we capture that in this logo.
This logo is vibrant, fresh, and full of movement. The vibrant blue represents knowledge, power, and integrity, and a rich crystal shines within, as though it were a treasured talisman. Finally, we support the brand with two circular rings orbiting a triangular “A” to tie back into the HOSA identity.
If the logo was not vibrant enough, we definitely didn’t hold back with the atmosphere surrounding it. We drew upon vivid blues, reds, and yellows to supercharge the background. The EKG anchors our identity, reminding us that HOSA is alive and making a difference. An overlay of street lines zoom towards the logo representing our forward future. And finally, it is the faces of real HOSA students who complete the identity, who will lead the next generation of health workers in the years ahead.
So become the Future Health Professional you were meant to be, and let this identity help you LEAD HOSA into the future

The Power of One
Creating a powerful event brand for Central Florida’s only Level One trauma center.
This identity underscores the personal and professional challenges shared by trauma victims and the team at ORMC’s Level One Trauma Center, who support their sudden, transformative journey.
When their world stops turning, old priorities suddenly become meaningless. In that moment, the team’s purpose becomes startlingly simple. All that remains is the one team with one purpose, to save, and then rebuild their future. When tomorrow is too late, we stand together for one night.
The meaning is three-fold. Primarily, “one” refers to the singular focus the trauma center’s staff devotes to each life, reflecting their unified teamwork. It is also a subtle reference to the level one trauma care center. Finally it celebrates excellence in trauma care, emphasizing the life-saving decisions often made in one hour or even one minute.
We selected a thin font to help symbolize just how fragile life is. Finally, the words are flanked by a watercolored symbol of a solar eclipse. When a family experiences a traumatic event, it often eclipses everything else for those moments. Similarly, when doctors are making those critical decisions in the trauma bay, their own thoughts are eclipsed by their responsibility as caregivers – giving them complete focus on their job and their patient.
Cybis developed a range of collateral beyond the identity, including web e-vites, program booklets, direct mailers and meter boards to promote the event.

Blast Off
3… 2… 1… lift off into unknown galaxies of design.
Get ready to blast off into deep space and “Discover your Passion” with our 2014-2015 identity for Georgia FBLA. We were instantly inspired by the word “discover.” What better way to represent the spirit of Discovery than with mankind’s passion for exploring space and its ever expanding possibilities? Pack your bags and look to the stars, because the opportunities on this adventure are endless like the universe.
The logo is surrounded by a vibrant galaxy with a vintage spin on it. Deep blues and greens emerging from a nebula give everything a sci-fi glow. We see a crescent moon towering in the corner, shooting stars soaring across the sky, a rocket ship flying by on it’s journey, and even a flying saucer hovering around Earth! Quick, take a selfie!

Creative Spark
We’ve all got the spark.
A modern and edgy lightning bolt, representing the spark, is the centerpiece of this identity. Sparking a newfound sense of leadership or maybe even a new career path, the logo for Washington DECA is an embodiment of the energy of its audience.
Our first approach was to come up with a symbol. An elegant lightning bolt did just the trick. We then filled it with orange, red, and yellow shaded triangles which help give it a texture that isn’t overbearing but more intriguing to the eye. The bolt is bold and could stand on its own. However, it’s accompanied by a more sleek version of the word spark. Inside, it contains a very similar triangular pattern and we see a few triangles floating between the letters just for a bit of an abstract detail. A few flares rest near the edges of the letters to really make it come alive and give it an electric look. It’s featured on a stark white background that really makes the logo pop.

Dancing in the Rain
Sometimes, you just have to dance…even in the rain.
A modern twist on the classic movie dance sequence starring Gene Kelly in ‘Singing in the Rain’. Imagine the style of Justin Timberlake with the dancing of Gene Kelly. This live action title follows a dancing young man named Will. As he steps outside, inspired by the classic movies’ zest for living life (no matter the circumstance) Will begins dancing towards his destination down the streets of Orlando. Splashing in the fountains, utilizing his umbrella as an accessory and raising the curious eyebrows of passerby, Will moves like Gene Kelly but also incorporates some modern moves. This pieces uses an upbeat and Broadway-inspired song to allow for the vivacious choreography of Will’s moves to come to life. It’s to remind viewers of classic dance and the youthful enjoyment of getting caught in the rain.

Legendary Stage Design
Odyssey: Ripped from the pages of the epic tale and brought to life in an unforgettable stage design.
To take the audience on an epic adventure, we needed a stage design that went beyond the ordinary. For our friends at Washington DECA, we designed and constructed a towering display brought to life by the rich colors of our Odyssey identity.
The design features a complex grid of truss supporting varying size projection screens to display content; acrylic panels and white drape to catch the light; and curved entryways for VIP talent. Complete with a gigantic number of uplights, stage wash fixtures, and intelligent moving lights, the design brings to life a vast backdrop befitting the heroes of legend.

Come dance with us, amongst the mist and smoke.
This LED display takes its place among the stunning visuals of one of the top malls in the world, The Mall at Millenia. Be drawn in by the mystery and fascinating form of smoke rising and dancing in seemingly impossible ways. Shot on a pearl background, we can appreciate the dynamic interactions of smoke in its environment, and watch in awe as different colored smoke blends and interacts in a fascinating visualization of turbulence. The final breath of smoke transforms into a fleeting Mall at Millenia logo. The sophistication of this deceptively simple aesthetic mirrors the simple and elegant fashions of the world famous Mall’s array of designer brands. The display is an ambience to accompany the luxury shopping taking place in the Grand Court below. The impressive visuals cause viewers to stop and appreciate the abstract movement across the 360 degree, multi-screen set up.

Primetime Set Design
Versatile stage set puts VIP talent in the primetime spotlight
One of our all-time favorite stage designs, this set raised the bar for student leadership conferences – and broadcast events as well! Our challenge was to create a stage set worthy of the primetime spotlight. It needed to have the feel of a news entertainment program, with the dynamics and diversity of a network awards show – like the Grammys or People’s Choice Awards.
We created exactly that. Our stage was designed to look like the set of a network’s flagship program, divided into three distinct sections. Stage left was a casual area centered around a large high definition screen where on-stage talent could stand and talk as dynamic content filled the screen behind them. Stage right was a peninsula containing a sleek podium. Center stage was a larger mixed-use area. We positioned two comfortable chairs facing each other for segments meant to replicate the intimacy of a primetime talk-show. At other points, the chairs were removed to open up the stage for a keynote speaker. Behind this area was a large projection screen that provided the camera shots with an array of energetic background textures.
As icing on the cake, the set was layered with a spectrum of moving lights, backlit panels, intricate trussing and a surrounding grid-wall. From this nerve center, the officers and keynotes delivered two sessions worth of high-octane entertainment and inspiration, driven with a suite of high-end, 3D infused package graphics and immersive sound. The next few pages will give you an idea of what our package of stage and show elements looked like… but to experience it in full HD, you had to be there!

Corporate theater with a twist of the lively jungle.
Cybis was proud to support the premier learning event for HR, payroll and store operations professionals, Empower Focus. Hosted by Empower Software Solutions, this corporate event needed a fun, brand that could come to life to captivate the audience. From the motion graphics, to video elements, to the main stage, Cybis delivered a fresh, jungle-reminiscent look that won’t soon be forgotten.
We have been told that our show was one of the best attendees have ever experienced – this is from people who have been to many conferences from big names like Oracle, ADP, etc. We look forward to working with you again next year!-Brian Toy, Empower Software Solutions Marketing Specialist
Thank you so much for the awesome work on Empower Focus. We have received so many raves and compliments about the show, and I know that we could not have pulled it off without your team. They were uber professional and I enjoyed working with them all.-Tiffany Ryan, Empower Software Solutions Marketing Specialist

The National Stage
Step into the spotlight and get ready for action with this stage design for a national show.
Think larger than life with our stage set for FBLA-PBL’s National Leadership Conference: Excellence in Action! Boasting illuminated truss reaching over twenty feet in the air, this stage design has a raw and edgy feel. Add in an oversize center screen with additional flat screen monitors displaying custom, themed graphic content to match, and it’s showtime!

Cybis doubles up on resourcefulness for a unique event technology implementation.
The challenge: Hold a large general session and several break-out sessions in the same room, back to back.
A unique, invitation-only event, bringing together over 500 of our nation’s leading education innovators and institutional investors, the Aspen Institute’s Education Innovation Forum & Expo was a showcase of Cybis event technology.
In addition to developing the event’s identity, collateral, signage, and overall design, we turned one of the Washington Convention Center’s exhibit halls into a multi-purpose event space. Using dual-projection screens and two sets of projectors, we simply ‘flipped the switch’ allowing fresh content to be viewed from either side as attendees flowed from large general session into smaller break-out sessions on either side.
It was a true measure of our team’s resourcefulness that was able to have a large impact on the client’s bottom line.-Jeff Douglass, Founder & CEO

Emotionally Charged

To highlight the spectacular work of Orlando’s only Level One trauma center, Cybis teamed up with the Orlando Health Foundation to create this emotionally-charged video. Recounting the events of a real tragedy, the story comes to life through still photography and first-hand accounts of the events. We were proud to highlight the work of Central Florida’s miracle workers.

We've Got That X-Factor
Cybis debuts on the X Factor with “Mr. Worldwide” in a major broadcast production.
Marking our second major entré into broadcast media, we landed an incredible opportunity through Impulse Creative Group to produce background graphics for Pitbull’s performance on the season finale of X-Factor 2012. Big opportunities often come with big challenges, and this opportunity had its share of obstacles. Namely, it needed to be done in just a few days for rehearsals in L.A. to begin. Oh yeah, and the set design called for seven screens worth of content.
So, we ordered some pizza, strapped on our headphones (and our Pitbull shades) and got to work..
The nearly four-minute performance was set to Pit’s latest hit at the time: “Don’t Stop the Party”. The hip-hop mastermind wanted the visuals to transport the audience to a frosty, ice-like club-scene with a futuristic twist. No problem! Our designs were packed with ice-cold crystals, and chilling color palette contrasted with steamy go-go girl silhouettes and hot lights.
Pitbull and his team at Impulse were blown away – and so was the nation. With just the right amount chill and few blasts of all-out action, the crew at X-Factor said the graphics were some of the best they’d ever seen used on their screens.

Story by Selfie
The growing social media trend promotes participation and membership in whole new way.
DECA and Cybis have done it again! For this year’s membership video we took the theme “I AM DECA” and ran with it. What better way to showcase a focus on YOU than to show us your selfie? Tomorrow’s entrepreneurs are more connected than ever and grabbing their attention is no easy feat. For this membership video we wanted to not only showcase the excitement and appeal of DECA, but to do so in a way that is relatable and memorable for our target audience.
Showcasing the DECA organization through the medium of selfies was a challenge the Cybis creative team was eager to take on. Inspired by a “photo a day” concept, we began pulling together ideas of how to translate the idea of membership through the day-to-day experiences of real life students. It became clear that this had to be done over the course of several months, utilizing numerous locations and contacts. Armed with GoPros, our team set off to Sugar Land Texas to capture the ins & outs of a typical school day for DECA members. Participating in anything from meetings to exploring a pep-rally, we explored the full gamut of on-campus life. From there we took our team to Anaheim, California for the International Career Development Conference, the annual event for DECA’s 18,000 members. Finding our Sugarland students was our first priority upon arrival but we also made sure to follow several other groups during our time in Anaheim, making this the most broadly captured conference in our history with the organization.
10 cameras and 200GB+ of footage later it was time for our editing team in Orlando to bring our story together. Branching out from the standard educational based promo focus we opted to highlight involvement and participation on the student level.
“It was refreshing to see membership through the experiences of actual students. Cybis definitely took that out of the equation and made it easy for me as an editor to keep the momentum and excitement alive from start to finish. I almost wish I could go back in time to experience the benefits of being a DECA member myself!”Kathryn Porter, Cybis Editor
This new approach was a win-win for both our team at Cybis & DECA. Standing at over 28 thousand views on YouTube, this promotion not only provides an in-depth look of the organization but prompts social media awareness to boot!
What a fantastic video! I truly believe that this video will help with recruitment this Fall!-Anna H (YouTube)

Build a Better You
From stage design to scriptwriting to creative, this 3D projection mapping stage took dedication across every department.
For HOSA’s 2013 National Leadership Conference, Cybis debuted a state-of-the-art projection mapping set.
Over two months, we designed and produced the entire stage from the ground up: beginning with the initial concepts and renders, through the physical construction of nearly forty 3D cubes, the technical logistics of flawlessly blending four high-powered projectors, and the creative design and animation for nearly 300 graphics which displayed behind the on-stage talent.
The biggest challenge was reinventing our approaches for so many elements of the 3D set. Never before had we designed content around a 3D surface, let alone rendered them in a format that would seamlessly play and map across this many projectors. It’s a huge testament to our team’s dedication to answer so many unknowns without running a full-scale test until we were on-site.”– Allen Ellis, Senior Creative Producer
The 40’ wide by 16’ canvas presented a unique way to display the session’s content, while showcasing stunning imagery. The dimensional set also featured a VIP archway for high-profile VIP’s and an overhead, floating beam with continually scrolling content.
The most inspiring part of this project was the way we brought all of our departments together. Our stage designers were working with our scriptwriters and graphics designers to coordinate the blocking and graphic layouts for each of the show’s most pivotal moments.– Danny Spors, Associate Producer

Stage Design with POW!
Cybis revealed new superpowers with a stage design ripped from the pages of a comic book.
Cybis teamed up with TRI Leadership Resources for Georgia FCCLA’s 2013 State Leadership Meeting – bringing comic book style to the “Saving the World… One Leader at a Time!” identity. Inspired by the pages out of “The Amazing Spiderman,” our creative media team brought to life a mighty and POW!-erful look for the logo.
Larger than life 3D halftone-textured panels, towering 16 feet in the air, created an epic backdrop for the scene. And what superhero lair would be complete without a dramatic entrance? In the center of the stage stood a sliding door, revealing the true heroes behind the event – Georgia FCCLA’s members.
“The team was proud to know that we had introduced the first sliding door entrance at a Cybis event! It was impressive to see the door slide open for the first time to reveal the officers in their sharp, red blazers as they stepped into the spotlight – sometimes striking a superhero pose or two!”-Danny Spors, Associate Producer

I Want My MTV… Movie Awards
Cybis supports the MTV Movie Awards with motion graphic elements for major film trailers premieres.
Cybis was given the incredible opportunity to design motion graphic elements for upcoming major films at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, airing before millions. The rich graphics were featured on-stage during their “World Exclusive Premiere” segments.
Clayton Carter led the project by hand-designing and developing visual textures that were projected across 5 different LED screens built into the amazing stage. The looping textures were featured before sneak peeks of major films like The Green Lantern, Super 8, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and Twilight: Breaking Dawn.
With just over a week to air, Cybis created and delivered dynamic and custom content on a very tight deadline… They were able to transform the screens into various dynamic living environments that could be appreciated by both the live audience and viewers at home! They were just terrific to work with.”-Jane Mun, MTV Movie Awards Supervising Producer
From the billowing smoke and electric plasma streams in The Green Lantern to the subtle rays of sunlight peeking through the branches in Twilight: Breaking Dawn, the rich environments created a pleasing and captivating asset to the overall stage design.
This marks the first time Cybis’ work has been featured by a major television network during a live event broadcast to millions of viewers! We anxiously await another occasion to team up with MTV in the future.
“It was an honor and definitely a pleasure to have a part in such a thrilling, and truly creative event! Armed with only matte paintings and promotional stills from the studios, we were able to bring them to life on screen using some pretty simple, but solid visual effects,” Clayton stated. “For Super 8, we rebuilt the movie poster’s silhouetted ‘skyline’ in front of a turbulent dark sky. Paying homage to J.J. Abrams, we added plenty of his signature lens flares to the scene.”

New Years Eve Miami Style
Cybis and Impulse Creative Group teamed to build a brand for Mr. Worldwide’s Miami New Year’s celebration. ¡Dalé!
Shortly after wrapping our work with Pitbull for his performance on X-Factor’s 2012 season finale, Impulse Creative group handed us the opportunity to build the look and feel for Pit’s very own New Year’s “finale” concert, to be held in Miami. Inspired by one of his more devious lyrics the theme was, cleverly, What Happens in Miami Never Happened.
Just weeks before the event we met with Impulse to get the scoop on Pitbull’s tastes and desires for this hallmark brand. They were looking for a mix of high-class and club-trash. It needed to feature Pitbull prominently and weave together elegant text, sexy ladies and all the accouterments of a swanky new year’s blowout.
Pitbull wanted the identity to have the swank of a club flyer, with the class of a bottle of Voli Vodka – the brand he represents.-Clayton Carter, Creative Director
We delivered. The logo featured a glitzy Miami skyline, bottles of Voli Vodka, and fireworks all anchored by a dapper Pitbull in shades, flanked by silhouettes of his enchanting entourage of dancers. It was a number one hit. We quickly animated it for the concert’s HUGE screen just in time for rehearsals and the live broadcast. Pitbull himself called it “Sexy.” #ithappened

Cybis has been a proud member of Visit Orlando since 2007.

Not Safe for Work? Not in Our Case
Cybis gets its hands dirty with some ultra raunchy, but ultra sweet video backdrops for the Pitbull world tour.
They’re raunchy, they’re nasty, and they’re just plain inappropriate to look at while at the office. That is, of course, unless you’re one of the animators at OUR office. In July, 2013 our buddies at Impulse Creative Group and their pal Pitbull hit us up once again with a new challenge posed by Mr. Worldwide. Our mission: to make three new custom video backdrops for three of Pitbull’s classic club anthems… and make them as gratuitously disgusting as possible.
At least that’s what our moms would say about them.
It got a little (ok a lot) awkward around the studio with our creative director asking for more t–t’s and more a-s in the videos… but hey, whatever it takes!-Jeff Kepler, Creative Media Designer
In reality, what we created for Pit’s “Shake It,” “Culo,” and “I Know You Want Me” were ultra hip works of art, featuring bold type, futuristic lines and shapes, dazzling tunnels and transitions… and sure, a little T&A. We’re talking sexy dancers shaking all they’ve got in a variety of tantalizing outfits and poses. Synced dead-on to the music, each video featured parts of the lyrics in big bright text, encouraging concert-goers to sing along.
While the videos’ appeal clearly leaned towards those of us with testosterone pumping through our veins, Pitbull kindly asked that the pieces be tasteful enough for ladies to love. From what we’ve seen of the concert footage, ladies and fellas alike loved the videos just as much as they love the sexy, shiny-headed crooner from Cuba who tied it all together in a concert no one will soon forget.
